The Executive Branch has grown over time because of how large the US population is getting. I think our forefathers wanted this because they wanted the power to be evenly distributed between more than one person.

The quiz shows that the executive branch deals with the safety of the people including transportation and education. The reason it may have grown so much is because that branch is where the president is, and the president is or should be looking out for the needs of his people. Was this intended? Most likely because Great Britain didn't offer America that when they were under "their care" . And so they wanted a Government that would be capable of that.

As seen on the pre-quiz we can see that the executive branch has grown and will honestly keep growing. The way that each agency or department can stick to what it does is crucial. I would say that the forefathers completely intended it to be this way so that each person or group does its job and its strength and I do believe the reason it has grown so much is for the reason that we need different things and we need more people for that.

The size of the Executive Branch is larger than people realize, I think. It has grown over time because people have turned to the government to help maintain the safety and make-up of our country. I do not think our forefathers intended this, but at the same time, there have been a lot of things that have happened in the US since the Constitution was set up that our forefathers could have anticipated.

The power of the Executive Branch is vested in the President of the United States, who also acts as head of state and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and, to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet. The Vice President is also part of the Executive Branch, ready to assume the Presidency should the need arise.
