We have progressive tax system in Canada which means the higher you go the more tax you must pay for your additional income. If someone does not pay tax over a year, then the next year you owe some amount of money to the government. And suppose you pay too much tax then the government will give you tax refund. 1. Use free tax software- This free apps are easy to use as you can insert the information automatically and they also guide you to every single step. The first thing you go to know is get your t-slips which are you t4 or t4a or t22a then all you must do is fill up all this information.
2.  Student loan interest- The interest portion of the tax that you pay for your student loan does not matter from where you should always have tax receipt for which you can claim to the government for you tax. And then it is simple fill up all the information which are required to file for tax file.
 3. Tuition Fee- Now one more interesting point here is that one can get their textbook credits while you are student. If you want to know how much turion credit you can get all you have to do is login into my CRA account.
4.  RRSP Deduction- If one individual is working it is always suggested to you to file your RRSP tax to get the most return out of everything.
