Include, the only prey the Mountain Lion species hunts is the Pronghorn species, therefore, those two species have a specific relationship with each other. Other relationships include the many different animals that rely on plant and vegetation and food and also shelter. Like mostly the primary consumers, such as insects, Pronghorns, and Squirrels and other small rodents

Some important figures or species in the original ecosystem are of course the primary producers, because they provide the rest of the food web of energy. But, another important species would be the Badger, mainly all the primary and secondary consumers help feed these animals. And from there, the Badger is not a prey for any tertiary species

Doing farther research concluded that the affect of Cheat grass has on the original ecosystem, would have a negative affect on the ecosystem. This species not only is bad for wildlife like grouse, mule deer, rabbits, and etc. that rely on intact sagebrush steppe for survival. But, is also bad for ranchers who are battling this invasive weed and for anyone living in areas where cheat grass- fueled fires burn

The nonnative species that was introduced the original ecosystem was the Cheat grass (or known as Downy Brome) species. Native to the Mediterranean region and was introduced to the United States in the 1800's. This plant is hardy and grows rapidly, mostly found on land that has been disturbed by cattle grazing, farming, or other uses. This plant is unpalatable and may injure livestock because it forms sharp-edged seed clusters. Cheatgrass is also highly flammable. And is currently affecting more than 100 million acres in the United States
