Another example of conflict in this series is when Alex is battling with herself and trying to excuse the abuse she endured. In the musical movie “Les Miserables”, detective Javert tracks Jean Valjean for the rest of his life and tries to judge him with the severity of the law. He was proud that he has lived in belief, but when he sees the mercy and love of Jean Valjean, he feels skeptical about his beliefs (treating criminals harshly without giving them a chance to rehabilitate) and his value was broken. This is not a conflict with the outside, but a conflict between inside himself. In the Netflix show “Squid Game”, the people who have nothing to lose in life start a game for a prize. However, the game was that get huge risks to their life, and when the participants saw the other participants die in front of their eyes, the opinions of the remaining participants were divided into two groups. A group that wants to continue the game and a group that wants to quit right away and get out of there. This is a social conflict between groups versus groups. In addition to whacking walkers, Grimes must fight off competing groups of survivors for dwindling resources.
