When I first read this quote I understood that it meant, "karma will catch up to you" I chose it because it seems to have weight in modern language. When someone says "karma will catch up to you" most people can identify with it and understand what it means which is why I chose it.

1. The first time I did this was with my parents. I simply just said it and they were wondering why I said it. I explained it to them and they told me what they thought it meant and it was the same as what I thought.
2. The second time I said it was during a Skype call with my friends. Once I said it they told me that I was "edgy" and laughed. I then told them what I was referring to and they quickly were reminded of their time spent in high school reading Macbeth.
3. The third time I used the quote was in math class with my friend. I whispered it to him randomly and he was confused because he didn't know that it was my quote for the project at the time. Once I told him we both started talking about our quotes and what they meant.

In the chorus to What Goes Around...Comes Around Justin Timberlake repeats "What comes around comes around comes around comes all the way back around." This relates to my quote as it refers to karma and the revenge of the victimized in that when you wrong someone, you should expect to be wronged right back.

Final Reaction

My final reaction to the quote is fairly similar to my initial thoughts on it. I believe that that quote means that Karma will always catch up to you. The fact that Shakespeare uses the word "blood" leads me to believe that he is talking about violent revenge. The meaning of this quote is significant to everyone because most people have been in a scenario where they think back and conclude that "they deserved what was coming to them".

The Tabloids in the UK get revenge on its citizens after they repeatedly dismiss the tabloids for its "little impact" on breaking news. This article from The Guardian shows how after brexit, the tabloids in Europe were buzzing after their dry spell when it came to breaking news. This relates to my quote and the real world when it comes to revenge because after all the bad publicity that the tabloids were getting, they strike back and gain their foothold on breaking news.
