         <description><![CDATA[<pre><strong><em>a) My family and I usually jog around the park for at least 2 rounds per day, ensuring a healthy lifestyle. Due the fact that my older brother and I gained a lot of weight recently, my mother adjured us to jog around, or else no dinner for us. Occasionally, I will trot 3 rounds if I am free. Furthermore, in the december holidays, I will jog 4 rounds because the length of the december holidays is around a month and a half! It is longer than any holiday. Hence, my mother ordered me to jog at least 4 rounds and must come home 9.30 sharp. Secondly, I would have a balanced diet when eating food. I would chose my food gingerly  and ensure that I will not get too obese, but I initially was obese when I was about Primary 4. I was being bullied almost daily for some reason. That bully guffawed at me incessantly and I was livid. He told me that I was thick. Personally, I think that I am sort of corpulent. But on the contrary, being fat has a few benefits though. It prevents you from trauma, Moreover, it protects you from being too nippy I had enough and reported to my teacher. She advised me to stay away from him. I obeyed her instructions and I attempted to avoid the bully but once he sees me, he will bolt very unexpectedly fast. I could not even outrun him. Hence, I really hope that I will lose weight and start jogging, especially having a balanced diet as what I had mentioned just then. Finally, my mother decide for me to join a gym class by the end of the year. I am thrilled of the upcoming gym lesson as until now, I only lost 2 pound, which is not enough for me personally. However, I had went the gym a year ago. It was such a indulging time in the gym. It was supposed to be my older brother's gym lesson, but my mother want me to gain the experience of going into the gym of what does it feels like in there. Of coarse, I am not wanting to be buff, but I just wanted to lose weight and that is all I hoped for. Consequently, I hope to be scrawny st the end of this year. In my opinion, I feel that all of the suggestions to keep a healthy lifestyle is important. It not only Increases happiness, reducing depression, it also Decreases risk of disease. Dis-ease in the body occurs when it's stressed, nutritionally imbalanced. In a nutshell, we should ensure a healthy lifestyle in us.      </em></strong>


<strong><em>b) from my point of view, I feel that it is not healthy to spent most of our time on online activities. Firstly, online learning causes students to have the inability To Focus On Screens. For many students, one of the biggest challenges of online learning is the struggle with focusing on the screen for long periods of time. With online learning, there is also a greater chance for students to be easily distracted by social media or other sites. However, I do not struggle with that problem. Furthermore, more online activities equals to more screen time. It will cause you to have myopia- a condition when the point of focus is in front of the retina, making distant objects appear blurry. Lastly, online games is addictive. It prevents you to play nonstop and lowers your grades if you play too much. But that does not happen to me now. But initially, that occurred to me when I was Primary 3 and 4. My mother had agreed to purchase me this compelling app, When I began to play, I thought that the game was just an game with blocks and disturbing textures. However, after a year, I realized this game was indeed enticing after all! But in the next few years, I started to get too engrossed in that game. My mother was seethed with rage when she realized that I was not handing my work promptly and my exam grades dropped. My mother banned me from playing that idiotic game and deleted it. Moreover, it happened to my younger brother as well. He started to play a game named brawl stars. my mother was neutral with that game. However, within a few months, my brother began to get addictive to that game. My mother forbidden him to play that game but he still secretly play in the night. My mother found out the secret and kept his  mobile phone in a case. In my personal opinion, I think that playing too much games causes you to be addictive, it will also cause you to have myopia. All in all I think that we can play computer games but it must be done in moderation. 


 

c) Personally, I think that face to face is better. If we chat in social media, the person who is receiving the message might not be available and will take a very long to respond, which is very inconvenient. On the contrary, talking face to face is convenient as the person is always available compared to taking a long time to respond. In 2020 circuit breaker. We could not talk face to face as the covid cases are on the rise. We could not even had a chance too see each other. Moreover, life was one toughest time on earth that time, I felt frustrated that I could not talk to my friends face to face that time. However, I strongly agree that we have to face the challenges as if we do not follow the safety measurement rules, the consequences would be disastrous. Secondly, I feel that face to face is better as typing requires some time and sending others to read it is not as good as communicating straightly, like when I chat with my friends in discord, They usually takes about 4-5 minutes to sent something that is long. In my opinion, that requires a lot of patience during online chatting. Lastly, face to face is way better as communication is often more effective than written or audio-only conversations</em></strong><em>.</em> <strong><em>This is because seeing one another allows us to pick up on nonverbal cues and body language. And because a lot of communication is nonverbal, being able to see each other helps us understand each other better. Furthermore, chatting apps enables our eyes to get tired, while face to face does not injure your eyes like when you chat on any social media. Moreover, online chatting cause you to build</em></strong> <strong><em>relationships online that can result in your spending less time with friends and family. Face to face kills many birds, not just two, with one stone. I remember vividly that I was chatting with one of my best friend, Warren, he is a fan of buses and so do I. When I chat with him he usually takes a long time to type out his response, which frustrates me a bit. Later on, his message was un understandable. I asked him to be specific but I could not understand him well. In summary, I feel that face to face is better.

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>a) My family and I usually go to the park or scooter at the side of our house. We also eat healthily on a daily basis as our father always forces us to eat healthy stuff and vegetable. I really want to exercise because now that there is PSLE coming, I do not have much time to exercise and since i can barely exercise, i have put on some weight since. But during the December holidays, we try to go out and exercise by going on morning walk at 7 am in the morning. We usually race to east coast park at maybe 5 pm in the evening normally the loser will be the one to treat us to a drink like maybe slushie? There was once last year, my brother managed to save enough money to buy a lot of slushie and a bar of chocolate which he used with his pocket money! in my opinion i really look forward to the end of PSLE so i can go exercise more frequently. In a nutshell we should not disregard the importance of exercising frequently as if we don't it can throw our health away.<br><br>b) I think it really depends. Sometimes online activities can calm your mind and make your body less stress and that can cause a lot of pros like, Stress negatively affects blood pressure and blood flow so if we had less stress we would have lower blood pressure but I think too much online activities affects our eyesight or many other stuff. In my opinion think a little of online activities will be good. In a nutshell, i think this reminds me of live responsibly as we should always try our best too not use too much online activities but also try to use some online activities when we r too stressed.&nbsp;<br><br>c) i think i rather face to face as when i speak online i really do not know if that person is a fraud as sometimes when u speak to your friend, you would not know if ur friend is not giving their phone to somebody or anything like that.          <description><![CDATA[<pre>1. Some things me and my family would like to do in order to lead a healthy lifestyle are firstly, going to the park at a stone throw away from our house to cycle. Although my mother does not know how to cycle, she love to walk at the park while my sister, dad and I likes to cycle. I prefer to cycle than walking because we have to walk almost about 2 to 3 kilometers and I have no music to listen too as I will only bring my watch so I would start to complain but when I am cycling, I would not complain as I do not have to hurt my leg a lot and have a stronger crisp and cool breeze. Secondly, my sister, mother and I will always drink vitamin drink during our meal or eat vitamin gummies after our meal. The vitamin drink I have at home are blackcurrant and passion fruit. I would normally drink the blackcurrant as I treated it as grape and the passion fruit as orange which I dislike orange. While on the other hand, my father would drink his drink for his gym exercise (idk how to describe. srry) Thirdly, My family and me would like to walk on a treadmill at my other room so called the guess room and my father also go to the other room called the temple room with more things like carrying things for exercising purpose which are about 5 kg or even more! I prefer walking on the treadmill than going out to the park to walk as I am in the the same position but walking on the spot while watching youtube and playing online games. I barely exercise as I am always very busy with my school homework, 4 tuition homework, 5 tuitions to have with sometimes extra lessons and timing and preparing for school examinations. Lastly, my parents always encourage me to eat vegetables and fruits as they contain a lot of different types of vitamins. Although I do not like to eat fruits, I would eat more vegetables especially the ones with have garlic and my most favourite vegetables is Kimchi as it is a bit spicy (to me it is not) and sour. I recall an incident that I had to go to the park to exercise with my mother, grandmother and my sister together. When my mother called me to leave the house to go to the park, I told her I could not go as I had still a lot of homework to complete. My mother then told me that I can do my homework after we exercise. However, I refuse too exercise as I want to do my homework. But after thinking within minutes, I finally made up my mind that I should go to distress myself and to have a healthy lifestyle. After exercising and showering, I eat vegetables to keep a healthy lifestyle. I also remembered another incident that when I was studying, my mother would make some juice for me. After I taking a sip, I told my mother that I dislike it. My mother then force me to drink it as it is good for my health. After drinking about 1 over 3 of the bottle, I realise that it started to taste better and wanted more. Even up till today, I still feel like drinking it and it has been 3 years over that I have not tried the drink again. In my opinion, I think that it is good to do some exercising, to eat some vitamins, eat vegetables and drink juice. I think it is important to have a healthy lifestyle so we can be healthy. I would suggest to my friends or someone I am close to, to eat vitamins especially. In conclusion, there are many things that my family and I would love to do or are doing in order to keep a healthy lifestyle.

2. No, I don't think it is healthy to spend most of my free time doing online activities. Firstly, we can waste a lot of electricity and parents would have to pay more money for the data we use. Secondly, we can spoil our eyes as we spend most of our activities on online and when we spoil our eyes, it will affect our eye degree and have to wear spectacles. Lastly, we can be too addicted to games. When we are to addicted, we could not concentrate on our homework and not being able to pay attention in class as we can keep thinking about it and especially when the teacher ask us questions, we are not able to answer the questions as we are not paying attention. It can also affect at night, we can secretly play as we are to addicted to it which gives us less sleep and the next day we would be tired. I remembered an incident that, on the year end holiday, my sister, me and our friends would keep playing non-stop as our parents don't care because it is end of the year. I then became to addicted that whenever I wake up, I would start playing and I will sleep very late. I had homework to do but I always keep it as the last thing to do as I still had a lot of time (I forgot what is it call..) . Until at the last few days of the year, I had a booklet to do and I had not enough time. I then had to rushed my work while playing online games. I quickly check the homework due date but it was just a practice booklet which I don't need to hand in. However, I still regret not doing the homework as I can improve in my Math. In my opinion, I think it is not good to spend too much time on online games but it is good to play online games to distress. I think I need to practice more discipline as I can be too addicted to games and will affect my homework. I will suggest to my friends who keep playing games to do homework so they won't be scolded by teacher. All in all, We can't spent too much time on online games.

3. I like to interact with people face-to-face and over social media but if I had to choose one, I would prefer to talk over social media. The advantages interacting with people face-to-face or over social media of interacting people are talking verbally because I am lazy to type and showing the person the picture straight away and not taking the picture and sending to the person. But the disadvantage of talking to face-to-face is that I am always shy to talk to new people. On the other hand, I prefer to talk over social media as when I talk to new people, I will not be too scared. Whenever the person is rude, I can report that person and when I need information, I can quickly go to the other website or the same website to find it but when it is face-to-face, I had to take out my device and search it up. Searching information on websites and talking to people on social media is better because we only do one action which is typing but when it is face-to-face, I had to do 2 actions which is taking out and typing. Also I can put some ridiculers and hilarious sticker so I can laugh at the same time. I also can make more new friends as I always make friends from online faster than face-to-face. In my opinion, I think it is better for me to talk over social media as I can do some hilarious things to make people laugh. In summary, I would prefer to talk over social media as I can play online games at the same time while chatting with friends. 
(sorry for and 3 because I could not think that much and when Ik what to say, it just disappeared in my mind. I tried too...)

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>My family and I try not to eat out as much and instead eat home cooked food I also go kayaking with my brother every sunday morning we also do try not to eat junk food and drink soft drinks so basically we rarely eat chips, mcdonalds, drink soft or sweat drinks although I think we are leading relatively healthy lifestyle I think we could live healthier lifestyles by eating less oily and fatty foods in my summary my family and I live healthy lifestyles.</li><li>Honestly I do not think it is healthy because the blue light that emits from it is harmful to our eyes and can affect how well we sleep. In my opinion doing online activities in our free time is okay but doing it for a prolonged time is harmful.</li><li>I prefer face to face as then it would be easier for me to chat as I would be able to easily just talk instead of typing or using discord which I do not have and would be laggy.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) My family has been making us go out to different islands to exercise and explore these islands. Some other ways are hiking, jogging or just bringing us to shop in general. we would also plan to eat healthy so we do not eat so much junk food that our immune system cannot take a bit of bacteria and make us fall ill so easily. In conclusion, my family goes through many ways just to keep ourselves healthy<br><br>2) No I do not. Though there are activities that is educational, most of us tend to only play games or watch videos that give us information we would no use. It also affects out eyesight and keeps us up late at night affecting our quality of sleep. Our eyesight will deteriorate as most of us will use out phones to do online activities in the dark which is bad for our eyesight. I recall a time where I had promised my friend to play with her for a while but had forgotten about it. I made it up with her to do it late at night and even in the dark. Not realising the time, I continued for a few hours and realised it was way past my bedtime.<br><br>3) I prefer interacting with people social media as i am an introvert and prefer to be indoors instead of outdoors. I also have social anxiety and this makes it worse when i chat with people face-to-face instead of online as I get nervous to speak instead of it being online where we only need to type it out. Typing it out is easier than needing to say it out as there is short forms to use when typing. But when saying it out, we would need to say it out in full sentances instead of using short forms to replace the words. Our social interaction also decreases when we only stay indoors. In summary, I prefer using social media to chat with people.</div>]]></description>

We must protect our eyes as most of us are already wearing glasses. I remembered a time when I was a little boy, I watched too much tv and could not get enough sleep that night. Other than that we should also eat food that helps our eyes such as carrots. They <strong>boost your immune system</strong>. The vitamin C in carrots helps your body build antibodies that defend your immune system. Vitamin C also helps your body take in and use iron and prevent infections. They can help with constipation. In my opinion, we have to learn how to take care of our body. All in all, we should always have to keep our&nbsp; body healthy.<br><br>3. Sometimes on the weekends , my parents try to find time to bring my brother and I to go to&nbsp; east-coast park or various parks near my house so we can stay healthy and fit! My family has also been wanting to try various diets, example , grapefruit diet and a vegan diet but my parents have told my brother and i that we are still growing so we cannot go on diets. Another thing to keep a healthy lifestyle is to sleep for at least 8 to 10 hours! in conclusion, we should try these habits so we can do well in school or keep fit and stay healthy.<br><br>Naur. i do not think it is healthy to spend most of my free time doing online activies. firstly , if we spend too much time on doing online activities , our parents may have to pay more money for elecricity which i think is not necessary if we did not spend so much time on our mobile devices! secondly,if we play or spend too much time on our mobile devices , our eyesight might get worse!&nbsp;<br><br>i prefer to people face to face, as i can interact with the person without getting interupted and i also enjoy talking to my close friends in school and from other schools and f we talk on social media some people would randomly start talking to me which i sometimes talk back but not all the time. in conclusion i prefer to talk face-face more than on social media!&nbsp; :&gt;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) We would often go to the parks nearby to take a walk with our dog in order to live a healthy lifestyle, usually we use that time to bond too! If we don't like to do vigorous activities like running , we would just stroll and embrace mother nature. We do this once every 2 weeks , once , we went to waterway park to jog and walk our dog and we enjoyed it very much as the wind was very chilling and it took our mind off stress.<br>&nbsp;Living a healthy life style would not only improve your physical body but your mental health too, we need to at least exercise once a week to live a healthy lifestyle thats why we have physical education and that is something we need to take seriously.<br><br></div><div>2) It is not healthy. Doing online activities such as video games doesn't require much physical activity we usually just sit on the chair and use our phone and our blood cannot circulate properly if we don't stand up or move. I think it is way more healthy to do physical activities such as walking in the park, jogging, doing simple jumping jacks at home. Not that we cannot do online activities, we should manage our time, sometimes we do online activities and sometimes we do physical activities to train ourselves to be more fit. Once, i refused to go out or move from my seat for 7 hours since i was busy playing valorant. My mother taught me the importance of exercising as if we do not it will weaken our body immunity. This taught me a lesson and from then on i decided to always exercise once a week and i took physical education very seriously. In my opinion, i think it is good if we exercise regularly instead of doing online activities. In a nutshell, we can always play online games but we must exercise too!<br><br></div><div>3) Face to face as it improves socialising skills that we must apply in real life. If we always hide behind a screen and communicate we would not require facial expressions and we do not need to express ourselves by talking. Talking face to face has benefits that we can learn from, during oral we need eye contact, but talking over social media does not require eye contact just looking at your phone screen and typing out your responses it will not benefit us as we do not pick out any skills from doing so. Usually , talking face to face will train us to be more social and will give us the opportunity to talk fluently. I remembered once, when the pandemic was very severe we were asked to stay at home , it was the period of circuit breaker&nbsp; and i could not communicate with my friends face to face. When we returned from HBL back to school i was not able to initiate conversations well as i was used to talking over the screen. This shows the importance of how we need to train ourselves to socialise with people more often. In a nutshell, we need to realise that socialising with people over screen will not benefit us at all.</div>]]></description>

Walk near siglap community club andd so on. Sometimes we would try doing planking to see who can do it the longest timing.&nbsp; Although we do some of these activites together, we also don't see eachother very often and my siblings always stay at home while I always go out for tuition. So, I would also consider running and walking up and down the stairs a good excercise. As my house has 2 llevels and the bedrooms are above, we would have to walk up just to get to our bedrooms. Climbing up and down staircases helps with burning pure fats and also builds muscle strength. Many of the times, my mother would come after us with a plate full of vegetables which is pretty much of a bnightmare. Especially bittergout. But like what she always says, for your own good. I remember when I was younger, I was super addicted to the computer that during the holidays, I would play up to an average of 16hours a day in a week.&nbsp; So, my mom would drag me away from the computer and ask me to walk up and down the stairs about 15 to 25 times. It didnt seem a bad deal so I did it anyways. After all of that, I was exhausted. However, I was grateful I did do some excercise as well as eye rest. It can also cause our mental health to drain. <strong>Scientists think nighttime exposure to blue light throws off your circadian rhythm, or sleep/wake cycle. Excessive blue light can cause sleep and mood disorders, leading to depression. Blue light</strong> creates abnormally high exposure to harmful blue light wavelengths which are much higher than we would receive naturally outdoors from the sun. These <strong>high levels of blue light cause an increase in our stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline which leave us feeling highly stressed, irritable, and anxious. </strong>Light from electronic screens comes in all colors, but the blues are the worst. Blue light <strong>fools the brain into thinking it's daytime</strong>. When that happens, the body stops releasing a sleep hormone called melatonin. Melatonin is nature's way of helping us wind down and prepare for bed. When I was 9, I used to sneakily play my phone at night without anyone knowing so I had trouble sleeping well. Because of this, my mother had to feed me melatonin pills which tasted bitter. I honestly hated it but my mom told me that if I don't sleep I would fall sick so I took it. In my opinion, using too much of a device is not good because it affects sleep and may cause addictions as well. Playing devices may be a good rest but it isnt good if u overplay it. Overplaying gadgets can cause family members to gradually separate and be more introverted and self-centered. Regarding why face-to-face is also good is because there is more interactions and its easier to understand&nbsp; what the other party means and to jump into less misunderstandings. When online, it is convenient due to busy schedules, texting, and so on. In my opinion, online can also help with long distant relationships (Eg, friends,family and yk) Currently, my mom is in hawaii and I use whatsapp to call&nbsp; her whenever I miss her. It is not like I can meet her face-to-face either.&nbsp; Altho I don't have a choice, I am still thankful that these online platforms exist for our convenience.
