I found this ad on the back of a receipt. Its purpose is to entice people by stating that there is "Free Fruit For Kids". This acts as a hook and catches your attention. It states in smaller text "let your kids enjoy a fresh piece of fruit while you shop". The target audience would be parents as it tries to show you that the supermarket if family friendly and good for kids. Next to the text there is a sticker like logo with the woolworths logo then the text "frech food". then underneath it reads"kids" in diffrent colours. this might catch the attention of children that will nag their parents to shop there

It uses a imperative sentence. The ad used the rule of thirds and puts the product that it is selling right in the middle to get the audiences attention. The ad also uses the colour red to send out the message that you will be a energetic and fit dad after you take on this burger.

Ritish

I found this ad on the front page of eBay. The target audience is anyone who is interested in tech related items, jewellery, and more. The purpose of this ad is to get more users to buy these items while there is a 20% off sale. Just below the main text is a smaller font showing the deadline before the offer ends. There is a very short deadline which encourages people to go out and buy the items which fall into these categories before it's too late. The font they had chosen is large and stands out on eBay's white colour scheme. It makes it very easy to be seen and will attract the users attention. Displayed to the right of the text are instantly recognisable brands and logos which anyone who is interested in those item categories would notice straight away. The advertisement is also positioned right under the search bar and log in which would make sure anyone who visits the page will see it. -Alex Santilli.

I found this ad scrolling through Instagram. Probably aimed at people who like to eat out, so possibly middle aged people around their 30+

The purpose of this ad is to obviously entice the reader to come over to project281 and try their food. The advertisement is a visual medium.

The advertiser I guess used some sort of vectors but they basically gave the picture a very subtle depth of field that makes you focus on the waffle fries before noticing anything else. Also the it looks like they’re trying to appeal as creative and fresh because they’ve used the purple coloured drink which can create a feeling of creativity also the fries have good colours as well, the orange brings a cosy warm feeling to the picture, the natural looking wood table also helps with this feeling. The shreds of lettuce or whatever they put on top gives it an even more natural and creative look. I also think the bowl and walls colour is meant to help that feeling of a relaxed home feeling. The rule of thirds was used rather well by almost filling the middle third with just the fries but having the colour of purple seemingly attached to the fries so that when the viewer first sees it they immediately get the creative feeling of the purple.

The target audience is probably parents who need to do shopping for their kids for back to school. The colour yellow is used quite a lot in this advertisement, as it is supposed to make you hungry and think of food. This ad has shown many examples of using imperative language such as, “#tasteslikeAustralia, #Lunchboxlove,” and even using an emoji. Repetition has also been used in this advertisement. There are two pictures of vegemite on the lunchbox that is being advertised, and also a jar of vegemite on top of it. The message of this ad is that this limited edition lunchbox is the best in Australia and people should buy it.

The target audience is probably people in high school and uni, because they probably enjoy listening to music and don't have that much money. repitition is used a lot in this ad, as the airpods are displayed close to ten times in various colours at the bottom of the picture.
the slogan "what shopping malls dont want you to know" creates a sense of urgency to buy the product ,because you immediatly get the impression that shopping malls could stop the sale right away so you have to be quick. the second message "todays top 50 to 90% delivery discounts" appeals to peoples sense of laziness and time efficiency. not only is it cheap but you also can have it delivered for a low price aswell. the main message from this ad is that there is some dodgy cheap premium apple airpods on sale for a low delivery cost but you have to be quick because it could get shut down.

They use colour by setting the cars up in a way that shows class and sophistication. In this advertisement vectors are used by drawing your attention to the cars in the middle straight away, it then pulls your eyes towards the slogan of the advertisement “It’s F-Sport time” and after this your eyes notice the extra detail about added value that is given if you choose to buy a car from this series. The message of the advertisement is, our cars are professional, well designed and are the best on the market.

The purpose of this ad is to convince people that everyone can donate their organs and for them to do so. The target audience is adults with healthy organs as any adult with healthy organs can donate them. 3 visual features of the ad: colour - the use of red shoes that donating organs is important and good. Connotation - through the use of connotation, the audience can associate the image of hitler and the text “everyone has something good” so it means that even the worst people on the outside, have something good on the inside (their organs). Rule of thirds - all the images/text are in the middle third of the ad, focusing the attention tot he image and text. The message the ad is trying to achieve is that no matter how bad a person you may be, you still have good organs inside you and you can do good by donating them.

This’s a restaurant and cafe chalkboard, it’s common in many places like this as its purpose is to let people know that the place is currently open. This can be noticed clearly on the chalkboard which the sentence “we are OPEN” and “OPEN” appears in the biggest font. This is a declarative sentence with an inclusive pronounce in it to make the audience feel they are being spoken directly. Besides, the chalkboard represents the restaurant’s style - a BBQ restaurant by the drawing of a dish with the word “BBQ” on it. Coffee and Milkshakes are the most popular drinks as it tells on the board. There’re also a hamburger and a small basket of chips. The target audience of this could be anyone. “Welcome to BBQ” makes people to feel friendly and welcomed. There’re two sides of the chalkboard with the same content but different arrow directions. The board is meant to be put in the correct position in order to indicate the correct directions to the restaurant for people depends on the ways they look at the chalkboard.
