I used to think civilizations were only from the past.
Now I think we are also part of a modern civilization that keeps developing.
I used to think civilizations were the same everywhere.
Now I think each civilization had unique ways of writing, building, and living.
I used to think civilizations happened by chance.
Now I think they grew because people settled, farmed, and worked together.
I used to think civilizations were just about rulers.
Now I think they were built by ordinary people—farmers, traders, artists, and thinkers.
I used to think civilizations ended long ago.
Now I think their ideas still influence how we live today.

I used to think that ancient civilizations were vastly different from modern ones, but now I think that despite technological advancements, both old and new civilizations share commonalities in their social structures, cultural values, and innovative achievements 🌏🏯.
