Countries such as U.S.A, Great BRitain, France, Italy, and Japan disarmed their military. This was the first time where all these countries agreed to shut down their military. But this only lasted for a short time. New conflicts appeared. France and Great Britain had to pay $10 billion to the U.S. They had two options on how to pay them back one was selling goods to the U.S or collecting reparations from Germany.
