Mr Susey and Mr Nedesh took me to the back of the Grand Ballroom to see the back of the LCD and explained to me what the amplifier, receiver, audio switcher, and audio splitter are used for.

Mr Nedesh taught me how to turn on the lights in the Grand Ballroom using the Symphonist app.

It just uses a device like a tab to move the sound audio. You can adjust the audio to your liking, and you can also play the colourful lights, especially if you have a grand event.

It is very easy to control by just using that app because we do not have to maintain it using a switch manually way like before.

Mr Wan took me to see the electrical riser on every floor of the hotel.

Mr. Wan also explained to me that electrical risers in hotels serve as vertical conduits for distributing electricity from the primary service connection to multiple floors, ensuring power reaches all areas of the building.

These risers are crucial for maintaining a safe and reliable power supply throughout the hotel.

As an intern in the Maintenance and Engineering Department, I was entrusted with developing a PowerPoint presentation for Mr Sussey titled "How to Save Water and Electricity Consumption in Housekeeping."

I gathered relevant information on best practices, sustainable procedures, and energy-efficient tools used in the industry.

I then structured the content into a concise, visually appealing PowerPoint deck that emphasizes practical techniques, resource-saving benefits, and meaningful activities that the housekeeping crew can do.

The presentation's goal is to raise awareness and promote long-term practices within the department of housekeeping.

I assisted Mr. Susey in preparing the slide presentation for the April 2025 Management Report.
