“Who did you choose to fight for?  Who did you choose to stand up for when it wasn’t easy? Who did you choose to advocate  for when it wasn’t convenient? It talks about how to always fight for people for the right thing, later on he said that studying is something you will forget but fighting for something is something you will never forget. Both speeches the people try to go out into the world because the good acts will sick with you forever. Ella Wheeler main purpose of his speech is that “You must intervene. You must interfere. And that is actually the motto of human rights. Human rights has become a kind of secular religion today. And I applaud it- I am part of it. Both Moore and Wiesel are trying to inspire people by inspiring them to stand up and fight for what they believe in. Moore is saying that if you have a chance to fight for something you believe in you should take it. If you study people fade but who you fight for will not. Weisel’s purpose is to inspire people to do what they feel is right. Also, they should intervene and interfere with what they feel is not right.
