         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hands on activities are engaging for students.  Here the teacher is bringing STEM to life before their eyes in a tangible way. Students can understand the types of changes happening to these materials with their own hands. Student are patiently engaged waiting to participate. They are directed to stand on a letter of the alphabet marked in their class carpet. The teacher redirects energy with a call repeat when students chatter begins to increase in volume. She than ask where her leaders are that would like to continue this experiment. This show how essential communication and quick action are necessary to keep students involved to properly manage a classroom. Her quick response to the noise level increase quickly diffused the situation and redirected the students focus. </p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

These rules give the classroom structure that is clear and predictable for those who may struggle with emotional regulation or behavior. These rules apply to everyone, creating a foundation of respect.  These posted rules can also provide visual support to the teacher as a gentle reminder to students by providing visual cues.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This Visual tree is displayed in the classroom. The tree begins the year bare with no leaves. As kindness grows and we observe students developing these behaviors leaves are added. Helping friends, sharing, and using kind words are a few of the many random acts of  we look to grow and reward. Allowing students to places their signed Leaves (acts of kindness)on the tree and watch is flourish through the year encourages both personal and social emotion growth. Teacher models what acts of kindness look like in the classroom, through stories and role play. here we set the expectation for the encouraged behavior. During the year have weekly rewards for different acts of kindness hove students vote to feel included. This helps create a more inclusive empathetic class environment that is filled with respect and compassion.  </p>]]></description>
