The chatbot will take input from the user via a chat box/feed to then pull from a database. If a question is not in the database, a new to-do item will be added on the back-end for programmers to add in and provide support for future issues. Say a question is asked that is not in the database, the chatbot will return a basic message saying it is "figuring out a solution". This is where programmers will work on implementing more questions and solutions surrounding this area of concern.
