The picture was a story that I posted on Instagram last year. This was the first time I played in a ball pit. My mother took this picture when I first went to school. To me, at that time, it was a bad time because so many strangers appeared in my life. However, going to school is one of the best things I have ever done.

I have joined BCIS for 3 years but sometimes, I come back to my hometown to hang out with my friends. We usually share about our life at school, about our friends, or even about family. My friends are always the ones who help me feel relieved when I'm feeling stressed. They always listen to my story and give the most sincere advice.

Grade 11 - Studying online

This was a difficult time for me because I had no friends in grade 11 and I can't talk to anyone. Luckily, because of this, I made new friends, and now, I have a lot of friends and more relationships.

This moment is one of my fondest memories of grade 11. When we finished our final semester exam, Mr. Calvin offered us Pizza for lunch. We all enjoyed this moment.

Become a volunteer for school

Being a volunteer is one of the best things that I have done in my life. My friends and I visited orphans and blind children who are raised at Nhat Hong center. We spend time talking, socializing, and playing together to understand more about the children's daily lives. This volunteer trip has helped me find it opened my eyes to how some people live. When I do this work, I feel very happy to bring happiness to them.

I and my friends usually hang out after school. We visited Crescent Mall's Phuong Nam bookshop. There are a lot of masks in the form of cartoon characters that are prepared for the upcoming Halloween festival. We took a lot of humorous photos of ourselves. After that, we headed to a milk tea store and didn't buy anything in the bookstore.

My first time to Australia

I visited Australia for a summer study abroad program last year. I traveled there by myself without my family or friends. I made a lot of new friends there. Emily is one of my new friends that makes me feel most at home. She is a student on a summer school trip and is the same age as me. Unfortunately, I caught Covid 19 when I moved to Sydney. However, she still took care of me and sent me lots of snacks, sweeties, or adorable toys to make sure that I didn't get bored when I was home alone. When the tour was over, we shared contact information and snapped pictures of each other. Until now, I still keep in touch with her, and hang out together on weekends.

A surprise on Vietnamese Woman's Day
