We looked into songs of the decades stated and picked one. We were able to work effectively for the time we did have until Louis broke a number of guitar strings which meant we had to stop practising for the day. Although we had heard the song we had to learn it properly and listen to it a few times to understand it and after a bit of practise we were able to play our parts very well. We already have a drum beath and rythm so it was a matter of working out a chord pattern and structure as well as lyrics. Ben used the dials on the amp to add an effect to the guitar to make it sound more accurate to the genre. Although none of us are huge fans of this genre and style of music we still manged to get alot done. We got a structure sorted and chord pattern and bassline. They only thing we need now is lyrics. After a rocky start we manged to perform. Half the group was late so set up was extremely slow and the drums were a nightmare to sort out as it turns out there was something wrong with one of the clips to keep the high hat in place. After we changed the key about 5 times back and forth before deciding that we would keep it in the orginal key. We then had troubles getting the bass to sound right which meant we needed to have extra time to practise. It was only 4 notes so it was not difficult to learn at all . Both Jess H and Jess B were on guitar while Jess B also sang the chorus. Ben said we can add him into it properly once he is able to play properly again. We still included him in the descion making and having his opinon heard. Between me jess and ben we came up with a structure and ran with it. I started playing a random riff o  the bass and we took off from there. After telling Jess what notes I was playing on the bass she worked out the chords and started to play a riff over the top. Then Julia wrote some lyrics. We followed the same structure as the last song but instead of having the chorus repeat twice we played the sequence round a few times before having the bass play a riff stand alone and then finishing the song.
