I would have traveled West to claim new territories. I will claim one of the many territories in the West that have not been explored into. In that land I will also build a successful farm/ranch as my economic possibility.

I would have traveled west to claim the territories. There were many territories in the west because not many people explored there. I would also travel west because of the gold rush. There was much gold and economic possibilities there. Many people,including me, would want to find jobs. I would have loved to, now with the Transcontinental Railroad. You could find jobs easy there if you had experience. I would also want the free land from The Homestead Act.
