The last thing I wrote was a text message to my mom, Letting her know I had woke up really early on my own for the first time in a while and that today was also my first day walking to class alone and I would probably get lost. She never replied because she wasn't awake yet but I guess just texting someone what I'm doing is comforting

The very last thing I wrote was a text message to my friends asking them if they would like to join me for breakfast at 8:00 before class started. We all had class at 9:00, sadly different classes, but I am glad that I was able to spend some time with them before we had to split our ways. Luckily they responded and agreed to eat breakfast with me instead of leaving me on delivered. If they did leave me on delivered, I could have walked to their dorm and knocked on their door to ask them in person. However, sending a text message is far more convenient.

The very last thing I wrote was a shopping list of all the things I need. The list includes bikes seat cover, command strips, U-Lock, bike lights, gym shorts, and a phone wallet. The audience was just me. The purpose was to make sure I remember to get everything and I can check things off my list. I would not have been able to achieve my purpose without writing because I would have forgotten somethings. I choose to write this instead of just adding it to my amazon cart because there might be better places to buy it. I didn't want to limit myself to Amazon.

The last thing that I wrote was a prayer to God during therapy. I read it to my therapist but I wrote it for God as a way of manifesting what I wanted out of the next 6 weeks. I did achieve my purpose of manifesting and I know this because I wrote out exactly what I felt I wanted to get out of the step experience. I could have done this manifestation verbally but since I was doing it in therapy with my therapist who also was apart off the journey it made more sense to write it down. I also think writing things down when manifesting gives the manifestation more power. The things we say have power but the things we write sustain power for longer since its a physical presence instead of a thought which unless it's recorded no longer exist after it is said.

The very last thing I wrote was texting my brothers to be quiet because they were blowing up my phone in the morning at 6am. I was trying to sleep and my phone kept ringing and I got annoyed and saw that it was them and they were trying to get me to download the adidas app because it was Yeezy day. This basically means that they were going to be releasing shoes all day long and they wanted me to try and buy a pair. I told them no and I was trying to sleep. My purpose in telling them to be quite was to let them know I didn't care and I wanted to sleep some more before having to go to class. Luckily they listened and stopped bugging me about shoes, so my purpose was achieved. I wouldn't have achieved my purpose without writing to them because I knew they were going to keep texting until I replied.

FYS Assignment-Part 1

The last thing that I wrote was my first assignment for my first-year seminar. I wrote about three children's books about science. I talked about what topic the books had, how long was it and the style of the book. I also wrote about some ideas that I had about the subjects that I might want to write about. My audience for this assignment was my professor. My main purpose of this writing was to throw around some ideas about what I wanted my book to be about.

Before coming to class, I texted my new friend Vanessa if she wanted to meet later to have lunch together. It was a very informal text sent via Instagram where we decided all the details about location and when to rendezvous. My purpose of the text was achieved as she agreed to grab a bite after class. To be honest, our lunch plans would not have been made had it not been for the text message because there is still an awkward vibe around everyone. This is understandable since we are still getting to know each other day-by-day.

The purpose was to tell him to be out there and be himself. I could've achieved without writing if I called him or ft him. I choose to wrote it because I was eating breakfast.

The last thing that I wrote that I feel has importance was the welcome speech for my graduation. I wrote a speech that welcomed the staff, families, students, and others and gave a brief intro to what was going to occur during the graduation. The audience for this speech was the students, faculty/staff, families, and anyone else who might have contributed to our school. The purpose as I've stated before gave a brief intro of what was going to go down and was an attempt to get the audience hooked and engaged during the ceremony. The purpose was achieved because I was able to speak clearly while cracking jokes and making the audience laugh to keep them engaged. That's how I know I achieved the purpose. I could not have achieved this purpose without having written the speech because then I wouldn't know what I would be saying. I chose to write the speech than something else so that I use my own words and you could read/listen to my personality through the speech. It helped with keeping the audience engaged and excited for what is to come throughout the ceremony which I believe wouldn't have been possible if I did something else.

The last thing I wrote was a nice message to a close friend back in Los Angeles. I texted letting her know that I miss her and I plan to call her later today to catch up. I let her know my class schedule in order to avoid her "spamming" me with text messages while in class. I did achieve my purpose because she has not disturbed me so far in class.

The last thing I wrote was a text message to a group chat with my friends. The text was about my experience so far in Davis and in STEP and as a way to update them. They also shared their own experiences and how they may be feeling. The reason we have tried our best to be communicative through texting is because I am the first in my group to leave our hometown for a while and our relationship is really strong and well bonded. So, they made me promise to text them from time to time when I am not too busy. As one of the youngest in the group, I try my best not to worry them. We opted for texting each other than making calls as we are all busy with our own responsibilities. I chose to write about this because they really mean a lot to me and are like family which which reminds me of home time to time when I feel homesick. However, I still enjoy being at Davis :)
