Reflection:

Through this CAS project, I was able to study the importance of personal hygiene and create videos and posters based on this to inform the school community. Through collaboration with my team member at every stage of the project, I was able to develop the teamwork skills necessary to share ideas, divide roles, and deliver effective messages.

In particular, when I presented at the last CAS exhibition, I received positive responses and feedback from many people. It was very rewarding to see that the students and teachers who participated had the opportunity to think again about the importance of personal hygiene. Through this project, I was able to contribute to changing people’s perceptions and promoting healthy lifestyles, rather than simply conveying information.

Through this experience, I realized that personal hygiene is not just a personal issue, but an important issue worldwide. I hope that the videos and posters we created will continue to reach more people and help raise awareness of personal hygiene.

• The article addresses a timely and relevant issue, focusing on a specific, well-organized topic. The ones who participates in the news club, sets an example for others who are aiming to join a newspaper club. Some students are inspired to write similar articles to boost school spirit.

  Being part of the news club also motivated me to be more conscious of school-related issues, and I appreciated the collaborative atmosphere where fellow students shared feedback and ideas. Our organization is very large, we have people all around the world and different cities, so it's helpful since we have more people to do advertisements, to reach out for more artists than our own people in the organization.

Demonstration Stage Reflection:

For our demonstration stage, we worked together to collect the evidence of our individual works such as Alex's artworks.

We reflected upon our weaknesses, the most prominent of which was our difficulties in managing time and working together. This was because we did not communicate effectively, and this resulted in lower efficiency.

Next time, we could improve our cooperative abilities and continue to split the work in balanced parts.

Our final art pieces consist of 11 pieces with 10 personal art pieces and 1 collaborative art piece. Five of the personal art pieces are related to the five senses and the other five of them are related to different age groups. The one collaborative art piece was a pressure bowl for audiences to interact with during the exhibition.

How do they come up with the good idea?

We came up with the initial idea by brainstorming about the problems we have in daily life as students where we decided with the topic of pressure. From the theme of pressure, we did our investigation by surveys and interviews that help us to understand pressure in different age groups. In the results, we discovered that peer pressure is something that most age groups have where we decided to use the idea of peer pressure.

I’m curious about their process:

Throughout our process, as we connected five art pieces with the five sense and five with different age groups, we first came up with brief ideas of what should the art pieces look like and with what opinion to express. After this process, we proceeded onto the materials collecting stage with experiments to see if each ideas are able to be achieved. After experimenting with different materials, we decided what the finals should look like and made them out for our exhibition.

For the demonstration part of our CAS project, we had a presentation and exhibition to showcase what we had accomplished. We prepared slides and a display board to visually represent the key aspects of our project, highlighting our goals, challenges, and outcomes. Each team member took turns presenting different parts of the project, ensuring a thorough explanation of our work and its impact. This preparation allowed us to clearly communicate the process and results of our efforts.

The exhibition was a great opportunity to share our CAS experience with a wider audience. It gave us the chance to reflect on our achievements and growth, while also receiving feedback from others. Through this demonstration, we not only showed what we had done but also gained a deeper appreciation for the hard work and collaboration that went into the project.

We conducted the CAS project to develop a comprehensive fitness program to improve physical strength and cardiopulmonary health for soccer players and other participants. We gained various learning experiences during this process, and we think we grew a lot personally and as a team.

LO1 (Identifying my own strengths and developing growth areas)

In the early stages of the project, we realized the limitations of my knowledge when designing and implementing a fitness program. However, through this, we gained a deeper understanding of physical training and exercise and especially learned the importance of strength and cardiopulmonary exercise required for soccer players. It was also an opportunity to demonstrate my leadership skills, and we could experience my own growth through studying more and accepting feedback to supplement my shortcomings.

LO3 (Planning and demonstrating leadership in CAS experience)

This project required thorough planning and leadership. we had to systematically carry out all processes, from organizing the program and assessing the participants' physical strength to planning each session and leading the team. At first, we had difficulty managing my time and making detailed plans, but as we gradually gained experience, we were able to effectively manage the schedule and improve the program by reflecting on the participants’ feedback. In this process, we realized the importance of planning and the responsibility of leadership once again.

LO7 (Recognizing the importance of ethical choices and actions)

While working on this project, we realized the importance of considering the participants' diverse physical abilities and needs. we adjusted the exercise intensity to each participant’s fitness level and paid attention to providing a safe exercise environment. We also tried to create an inclusive atmosphere so that all participants could participate equally and grow in the program. we realized that ethical decisions and actions positively impact the participants, which became an essential value throughout the program.

Overall Reflection

This CAS project was a challenging and enriching experience for me. we overcame my physical and mental limitations while planning and executing a fitness program aimed at improving physical fitness, and we felt the joy of achieving goals with the participants. We also thought deeply about the impact of my choices on others, and we learned that we must lead any project responsibly in the future. This experience was an opportunity to improve my leadership skills, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and ethical awareness.

We chose this topic because we wanted to combine creativity with social contribution. As high school students ourselves, we understand how important a well-resourced library is for learning. By crafting and selling handmade items, we not only improved our own skills but also supported the education of others. This topic allowed us to engage in both artistic expression and meaningful community service.

Yes, there were some challenges. One difficulty was managing our time effectively between schoolwork and craft production. It also took effort to promote our handmade products and reach potential buyers. Additionally, choosing the right books to donate required careful research to ensure they would be valuable and appropriate for the school library. However, overcoming these obstacles helped us grow and made the project more rewarding.

Our group selected this topic because we wanted our creativity to have a positive impact. Making crafts is something we enjoy, and turning that into a way to help others made the project more meaningful. We also hoped to support education and encourage reading by donating books to a school in need.

There were several difficulties throughout the project. Sometimes it was hard to gather enough people to help with crafting, especially during exam periods. Also, promoting our project and convincing people to buy the items took a lot of planning and communication. Despite these challenges, we learned to work as a team and stay motivated.
