The Battle of Trafalgar took place on October 21st, 1805, and was between the naval fleets of France and Spain against Britain. France and Spain had 33 ships, while Britain had 27. The French and Spanish were lead by Pierre Charles Silvestre de Villeneuve, and the British were lead by Admiral Horatio Nelson. France and Spain suffered 3,243 deaths, 2,538 injuries, and 8,000 taken prisoner. The British only suffered 446 casulties and 1,246 injuries. While the British won this battle, it didn’t prove to be one in the long run, and it also proved “...how Napoleon would still have to be uprooted within continental Europe to ensure a complete defeat.”

Watch a video about the battle here.

Source: https://www.thenapoleonicwars.net/battle-of-trafalgar

France was headed by Marshall Jean Lannes, Russia by General Levin August Gottlieb Theophil (Leonty Leontyevich), Count von Bennigsen. France won the battle with only 1,500 killed and 4,000 injured. Russia was left with 25,000 killed, lost, or injured, as well as 10,000 taken prisoner. The battle took place at Friedland, known today as Pravdinsk. The victory on the French side made Alexander I accept France’s terms of the Treaty of Tilsit. This “...left Napoleon the undisputed master of western and central Europe”

Watch a video on the battle here.

Sources:
https://www.napoleon-empire.net/en/battles/friedland.php
https://www.britannica.com/event/Battle-of-Friedland-1807

This battle took place on September 7th, 1812, in the Russian city of Borodino. It was about 130,000 French men against about 110,000-130,000 Russians. On the French side, it was lead by Emperor Napoleon the First, and by Tzar Alexander I on the Russian. In the end, there were 30,000 Frenchmen out of action, and about 40,000 Russians killed or injured. While both of the armies were badly bludgeoned, it was considered a victory for Napoleon and his army, for they took Moscow. It is known as “...the single bloodiest day of the Napoleonic Wars.” Eventually, in the same year, the Russians were able to force the French out of Russia.

Here's an animation of the battle.

Source:
https://www.napoleon-empire.net/en/battles/borodino.php
