I am Kamelia Racheva, a primary school teacher from Shumen, Bulgaria. I have been teaching for 21 years,  Primary School Subjects.  I teach students aged 7-11 at a primary school, called Kniaz Boris I Primary School. The children have differing religions (Muslims and Christians). My school  was founded in 1907 on May 2.

Our school has 12 classrooms, one computer lab and a small  gymnasium.

There are about 350 students from 1 to 4 grades and the staffs of our school are over 30
people. In Bulgaria live Roma, Bulgarian Turks, Bulgarian Muslims and other small communities (Armenians, Jews, Vlachs, Karakachans, Russians, Chinese, Vietnamese and others. Classes in schools are mixed with children of different ethnicities. In my school the children have differing religions (Muslims and Christians).
The reason why I joined the course is that I am interested in cultures and will exchange experiences and views on knowledge in teaching in an intercultural environment. I agree with all the three   speakers.Teachers need to know the different ethnic and religious communities of origin of their students. We use different games for the differences. Talk about the holidays. They together  celebrate, to discuss why we are the same and different. We use a variety of activities such as painting, dancing and sports, in which every student can participate by choosing what excites him.
2.1 Example activities to develop students' intercultural competence
This year I plugged the children in etvinning projects. They are active and concern topics that expand the This year plugged in etvinning projects. Share experiences with colleagues from other countries and learn from each other. The themes are for the friendship, the good stories on the topics that concern them, European day of languages and etc.

We can also get children to think any history in their native language and then it  be dramatized in the foreign language .

In my school there are Turks, Roma and Bulgarians. Some Roma are Muslims and other Christians.
2.4 Creating a sense of belonging and identity in your class and school
