Besides my degree I love art and design.

I am very ambitious person, I work very hard to achieve every goal I set to myself.
The best advice I had is: "The sky is the limit", and since then has become one of my biggest motivators.

Right now I am starting a placemnet year. Currently working with Mindot, in September I will be working for 4 month at Johnson Banks ( a design and strategy consulting in London) and hopefully after that at Assouline in NYC.

Dream Job: CEO at a leading brand consulting firm or creating my own firm. My biggest ambition is to contribute as much to the world we live in. I would like to continue helping mindot to grow, empower, and train as much students to become future leaders.

Hey, Guys!

I'm Sofia and I'm from the Philippines/Costa Rica, but am currently in Idaho. I'm 22, studying in USC at the School of Cinematic Arts with an interdisciplinary major in Media Arts & Practice and a minor in Architecture.

I don't particularly have a "dream" job; I'm in an interdisciplinary major for a reason and want to be working on several projects simultaneously. That said, I do have a personal goal of going to MIT for graduate school to be a part of Neri Oxman's Media Lab and have her as my mentor.

My interests vary immensely, but a few I can mention have to do with: storytelling through different platforms of media, making a social/environmental impact, traveling, and cooking! Talk to me about traveling, food, nature, anything creative, and your personal philosophies.

I'd say that my upbringing and life experience has shaped me into who I am today. For me, that means that I've developed certain skills that I truly value: easily adaptable, multi-cultural perspective, empathetic, creative, open-minded and I have an innate need to help others.

Right now, I'm doing a 3 month internship at Vogue PH helping with research, interviews, and articles. Then of course, I'm doing my work as part of the Mindot team; it's small, but mighty and we all really see the potential for opportunities in shaping our futures.

That said, I'd say that my favorite project thus far is one that I started working on last semester with my boyfriend Tyler throughout a class called "Transmedia Narratives" in which we worked on conceptualizing and developing one story. Our story got a lot of great feedback, and we now have amazing support from brilliant individuals in SCA to eventually pitch out story and bring it to life.

The best advice I always have in mind, is this:

"Thoughts can be taught, shaped, and not your own. Feelings cannot."

I have always and will always trust myself and my own intuition. It has never led me astray.

I’m from Ecuador and I’m currently studying at Northeastern University in Boston majoring in interdisciplinary studies. I’m 19 years old ( in October I will be turning 20) :(. I’m passionate about psychology, sociology and international affairs ( you can tell I love human interaction haha).
My dream job probably would be any non-profit or governmental organization (UN, UNICEF). One day I will have my own organization dedicated to mental health in the youth through art. I’m a believer of healing through art. I love social work, fun fact: I was part of the interact club and will be joining rotary club soon. I want to be the one that offers a space where young people can feel safe, adventurous and able to deal with their emotions. I’m really excited to be in this course with you all.

Hi, my name is Olivia! I'm 20, and I'm studying Psychology with Business and Management at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England.

My degree has a particular focus on Organisational Psychology, because I'm passionate about helping people feel fulfilled in roles they love. At this point in my life, I feel a career in recruiting, HR, or a freelancer working on company culture would be a good fit for me and my career.

I'm currently the Manager of Events and Recruiting at the Sustainable Fashion Collective in my university (@sfc.bn on Instagram). When people ask me what my dream job is, i think it´s a very confusing or extensive question to answer. I was born in CA, lived in FL, and now I live in TX! My mom is from the Dominican Republic.

I'm 18 years old and a Senior in High School, I've been homeschooled for the last 10 years. I'm currently looking at universities that fit well with my career, which will be Film/TV and Media, and a side focus on Musical Theatre.

My dream job is being a director for Disney and on Broadway, and also starring in Disney shows, movies, and Broadway shows :) (and my DREAM opportunity would be developing the first Latina/Afro-Latina Disney princess)

My passion for storytelling and creating has been with all my life, starting with my first dream of being an opera singer when I was 6. Since then, I've found so much love for musical theatre, and I've discovered that there is so much room in the film and media industry!

One of the huge reasons I'm so passionate about creating a space for everyone in media is the huge lack of representation for black, brown, asian, native, neurodivergent, disabled, queer, and impoverished people, as well as immigrants. I know that when we listen to these underserved communities (many of which I'm part of,) we can make a difference and improve the lives of so many.

I work as a freelancer and as a VA, and I also have my own company, WhollyART. I have worked as an intern for FreshFilms, and I'm going to be working on set for the FIRST TIME in just a couple of weeks!

I do a lot of video editing (including film and music video editing), website design, social media management, blog post and article writing, ebook writing, graphic design, photography, consulting, etc. for my clients.

I'm also an author! My first book was self-published at 7 years old, and then I was published by Morgan James Publishing at 9 years old with my older sister.

3 words to describe me: Creative, Friendly, and Determined.

Talk to me about basically any important cause: environmental conservation, animal conservation, women's rights, LGTBQ+ rights, representation, equality and equity, etc. Also talk to me about movies, shows, books, art, and fandom stuff!

What are some of your favorite projects you are working on right now? I am currently (trying) to begin developing an online course for teens! Also writing a lot of scripts for short films I have in mind.

Currently I feel like I am on the way to achieve and fulfill my goals and dreams, slowly but steady. My full name is Maria Fernanda, you can call me Maria or Mafe, whichever is easier to pronounce. I was born in Lima, Perú and I currently live here as well. I´m 23 years old and I majored in Graphic Design, which is the field I currently work in at a local research and design studio.

At the moment I´m not really sure what my dream job would be since I´m interested in exploring different areas in the design/visual communication/tech field, but I aspire to work in a space fueled by collaborative minds.

I think my main goal in life is to find a path that allows me to feel fulfilled professionally while also prioritizing my personal life and travel to spend time with loved ones.

I spend a lot of time online, so I like keeping tabs on pretty much anything related to fashion, media, culture, sports, etc. I´m also a very curious person so I love finding out new facts and researching about new subjects. You can never know enough even if some of the things you find out can seem useless at first.

I’ve recently taken up reading again and set myself a goal of 30 books by the end of the year. If you guys have any recommendations I’d be super grateful if you shared them with me.

I think the best two pieces of advice I’ve ever received are “Rest, but don’t quit” and “Comfort zones are most often expanded through discomfort”. I’ve recently started reminding myself that to create real change you have to practice patience, do things regardless of how much they intimidate you and accept that you will face discomfort through the process.

My name is Ana Leal, I was raised in Venezuela but was born in Miami, FL. I am 20 years old and am currently studying at Loyola University Chicago, majoring in Advertising and PR.

Hi!
My name is Johanna Graf. I am 21 years old originally from Ecuador but currently studying in Loyola University Chicago. I am a junior majoring in Marketing hoping to work in the marketing/advertising field of big firms and corporations like Nordstrom, Revolve, Netflix, Amazon, MAC, among others, but it is still very confusing to know where exactly I see myself in the future. I currently live in New York where I study Food Business Management, Baking and Pastry in the Culinary Institute of America.

My dream job is to have my own TV show and to open or manage my own help center, like a soup kitchen.

My passion in life and what I think my purpose is is to help people and bring happiness to the world. This fulfills me and at the same time I think I’m good at it. I love love, seeing people happy and more if I helped them achieve it.

The best advice I have ever received is really a quote that’s in Spanish but I will translate it for you: “bees don’t waste their time explaining to flies why honey is better than shit.” This means not to waste your time with people that are not on your level. Don’t waste energy on people that don’t care about you, that just want to bring you down, that talk bad about you behind your back, etc. This quote has helped me a lot because I have always been a very forgiving person, I would accept anyone in my life, but a couple of months ago I realized that there are certain people that just don’t go with me, that want to bring me down, that make me feel less than I am actually worth, and these people don’t deserve my time and effort.

My name is Shadia Mozo. I'm a 17 year old from Colombia. Currently, I am not pursuing a university degree because I am studying English to pursue my dreams abroad, as Colombia lacks modern science careers, instrumentation and has a great delay in scientific dissemination. In my case, Astronomy.
I want to be an astrophysicist in the future to give hope to the young people of my country who want to get ahead, managing projects with Nasa and extending it throughout Colombia. It would be an honor for me to conduct multiple scientific researches contributing to the development of society.

Hello everyone! I'm super excited to be here. I'm from Ecuador and I'm 20 years old. I am currently studying biotechnology engineering at USFQ. Since I was little I have visualized my future with a lab coat, at first I thought I wanted to be a doctor but then I cleared my mind and realized that my thing was biotechnology. My dream job would be in an animal biotechnology or genetics laboratory. I have several goals, one of them is to have my own company or business, I am still not sure what it is but I would like to have a social purpose, something that impacts society and could be very successful. I’m a dog lover and I would like to have a foundation for abandoned dogs. In my free time I like to be with my family spending quality time, I like to play and walk my dog. Another thing I like to do is to cook with my mom. As I said I am very interested in science, in the area of entrepreneurship and I also like fashion.

The three words that would define me are: resilient, curious, independent.

I think one of my best qualities is to be independent, since I was very young I have liked to do things alone despite having the support and affection of my family in everything I have done. I always prefer to earn things on my own merit and being independent has also helped me to be able to study away from my family and friends and despite having fear and sorrow I have been able to grow and mature successfully. I believe that one of my strongest skills is being creative has helped me to face many things and look for viable solutions to personal or work problems. I am currently in a course called WISE which is women in stem entrepreneurship. This course is helping me to reach my goal of creating a company or entrepreneurship focused on my area, which is science.

The best advice I have been given is to get used to the inevitable, this advice was given to me by my dad and it is what helps me to get through things that affect me but are out of my hands.

Hey Everyone! Kind of late to this but I'm Analia Espinoza. I was born and currently live in Ecuador. I am 16 years old, so I'm a highschool junior (class of '24!!) looking into studying Cognitive Sciences (Neuroscience) with a focus on Early Childhood (it's a very specific career path, but it's the perfect mix of so many of my passions). My dream job would be under educational and scientific research on cognition, or becoming a kindergarten teacher. I dream of being able to persevere in my life. I'm pretty young but I think that my biggest ambition is to be able to keep growing and to make positive impact in my community. In my free time, I love to read, listen to music (HUGE Taylor Swift & Phoebe Bridgers fan) as well as baking and honestly just browsing social media. My top interests include biology, makeup and literature as well as writing and painting (pretty random mix i know). If I had to describe myself in 3 words I would say perseverant, kind, and hardworking. One of my favorite projects I'm currently working on is my Extended Essay (IB Student), which is on Biology and I'm focusing on the effects of natural and artificial antibiotics on the growth of bacterias present on chickpeas!

I would love to end this with a bit of advice that helps me a lot. My mom always tells me two things and they're two things that I live by: Number 1, Health (physical and mental) goes first, education is second and Number 2, taking things one day at a time is the most important thing.

Hi! I'm Isabella Puche, I'm 16 years old and I'm from Colombia. I was born in Canada, but have been raised my whole life in Barranquilla, Colombia. I am only a student at Karl C. Parrish, but I'm really interested in my future and preparing for it.

As I'm only 16 years old, I'm not sure what I will study, but for now, I'm very interested in engineering and business. My dream job would be to have my own successful business. In my free time, I enjoy going working out, reading, and spending time with my friends.

I would describe myself as hardworking, independent, and practical. My most interesting quality and skill would be being leadership. I have always liked to be the leader, and that has helped me become more organized, learn to work with others more fluently, and be able to do things my way. I'm only in school, but one of favorite projects we're working on is a project where we tell others to tell us how they view us and we basically get different perspectives on how others view us to be able to better ourselves. The best advice I have ever received is to be confident and go for it, if you don't go for something, you'll always end up thinking what could've happened, while if you go for something, you'll have your answer. This way, you can always know what something is and not waste any of the shots you could've had but were too shy to take.
