In the movie Mulan the main character going through a process mantely. When her fahter enlisted to the war she dont exspect this and she go in his place to the war. In the movie she has a lot of scenes where she is growing up. one of the scenes that show the process she went through is after her commander discovers that she is a girl and she is dismissed from the war.

When she started to go back to her village she saw the enemy come and she takes responsblity and became their leader and managed the fighting even though she was told she was dismissed. After a long fight while her commander was injured and she save the king and the the whole nation. We see that she coming of age because of her brive and her combat abilities. she is grew up during the movie and in the end she gets married and becomes exactly as she wanted and dreamed.

In my opinion the "moana" movie is a movie of coming of age. Because in the movie she started to understand the meaning of life. She started to understand what her dad expect her to do as a chieftain of her village. The movie talks about a young girl called " moana" that went to the sea to search for a a stone that will save the whole town. When she is in the middle of the sea she encounters difficulties, cold, fear, strangers who want to screw up all the work for her, but Moana does not stop. She gets over it and moves on. I guess all the difficulties that Moana went through in the middle of the sea, and that her grandmother died made her grow up, and become responsible and in depended and she has high self-.confidence.

. The fact that she went all alone to the sea to save the whole town shows how mature and caring she is.

Mulan decideds to go instead of her dad to fight in the war-womens cant fight in the war, so Mulan dangers her life and she dressing up so she look like a man.

In this part Mulan coming of age because she take the responsibility from her father, she put herself in dangerous insted of her father so he wont get hurt. Mulan do here something that not every humen would have do, she needed a lot of courage to do that.

I choose on the “lion king”.

At the beginning Simba is a child with no worries and lived with his family.

After his father died, Simba full of guilty, so he decided to accept from his home and the responsibility to be the new king.

At the jungle Simba met with Timon and Pumba, and he started to live in attention of “Akuna Matata” that said - no worries. In this part of his life, Simba grew up and lived his life with no problems or worries. Simba denied his past and his responsibilities. When he meets Nala and Rafiki, he start to understands that he couldn’t running away from his past forever. They helped Simba to understand his Responsibility for the kingdom, and to cope with his guilty and his fears.

Simba started his coming of age, and decided to come back home and fight his uncle for the kingdom.

At the end Simba became the king, dnd he doing his role as a king with courage and wisdom, and understanding the power of his job.

The Lion King is a coming of age movie.

The movie talks about Simba, a young lion prince.

At first Simba was a simple cub, until his father Mufasa died. He started his coming of age journey, when his father died. Simba runs away from his responsibilities because he is afraid to face with the reality. But when he realizes that it is impossible to escape from reality, he understands that he must return and fulfill his duty as king in the best possible way. He was a little cub, but he became a leader, a lion king.

I chose “The Lion King”,

The main character on lion king is Simba.

His father was the first Lion king, and when he was king, Simba was a little lion.

Simba grew up following many difficulties he experienced and the main reason is when his father died and his uncle tried to kill him.

This is made him to mature because this has took him to a long journey and one of the things that happened to him was he met new friends that thought him to take life easily and that everything is for the best. the journey he went through, which made him more mature and after the journey he was more smart and he knew more things about the life.

When Simba made it he became to the lion king himself and he knew to choose right decisions that are good for all the animals in the kingdom.

"Inside Out" is a movie that shows the emotional changes that come with growing up.

In the film, Riley, the character goes through the ups and downs of growing up. She feels a lot of mixed emotions at this age. She is going through changes with herself and with society. In the movie we see16-year-old Riley when she is angry at her parents, or 10-year-old Riley riding a bike with her father.

The mixed feelings lead Riley in her whole life Teenagers deal with emotional turmoil as they go through physical and social changes. The film shows the inner feelings that young people feel today. The film emphasizes the importance of emotions, and emotional development in adolescence

Raponzel is coming of age because she is choosing to go to her own way instead of going on the way her mother wanted her to. She chose to go out of her tower, were she lived her all life and leave to the on known world outside so she could see the lights that fly on her birthday. With the help of Flynn rider, she goes through a journey were they help each other to grow and save each other many times.

By doing that Raponzel finds out the secrets her mother Gothel kept from her and the truth about the real world and that Gother stole her from her family, the royal family because of her magical hair that heal and help Gothel to keep herself young. It make her grow and understand the world better she finds the courage in herself to make her own way.

rapunzel is trapped by her mother in a tower deep within the woods outside of the kingdom. when she had the option to escape without her mother knowing, so she took advantage of it.

Toy story 3 is a coming of age movie because Andy, the kid in the story, grows up with his toys through out the movies. the third movie shows us Andy as an adult. He needs to go to college and take only the necessary things only. Andy chooses to take Woody, his first toy that he loved dearly, and put him in his bag. At the end of the film, Andy decides to give his toys, including Woody, to a girl named Bonnie. He realized he grew up and there are kids who need them more than him.

i chose the lion king movie

the reson why i chose this movie as a becoming of age movie is because i love to see how simba is starting as a carefree child to a denying teenager, and in the end how he becomes a mature person

Merida was a princess of Scotland,

When Merida was young enough to get married to someone, her parents made her marry someone she doesn’t know and want .

her parents forced her to be someone she is not, she hated them for that.

She accidentally cast a spell on her mother to become a bear.

then she understands she wants her mother back and she tries to rerun her mother back to her human form.

Merida is going through a process of coming of age and understand she loves her parents and her duty to her country .

Simba's growing up process lives without worries and without responsibilities like ordinary people who go through the same growing up process, Simba runs away from his responsibilities as king because his father died, and prefers to live a life without responsibilities. He learns the importance of taking responsibility for his actions and his purpose in life.

Mulan – Mulan is a story about girl who takes her sick fathers place in the army when she is changing to a boy so they won't be caught. In the story she learns how to fight and getting stronger. It's a coming of age because in the biggening Mulan was sweet girl that lived in a small place and when the movie is progressing she getting stronger and understand the meaning of the war and life. At the end of the movie you see her as a strong independent women.           

n my opinion I think that the Moana Disney movie is a coming of age movie because in the movie she started to understand the meaning of life, and what her dad expect her to do as a chieftain of her tribe.

She also find a way to save all the island , all of the harvest, and also brought all the fishes back.

She’s maturing and she’s proving it by making the good decisions like a good chieftain, that’s why I think the Moana movie is a coming of age movie

Raponzel is a coming of age movie because She decides to run away from her mother, Which goes against everything her “mother” told her to do, and go on her own way, When she runs away she finds new things about herself, She has new feelings, for example guilt because she ran away and she also finds out new things about the world, about its mysteries, how everything works outside of the tower.

In Molen, the coming of age showing itself when the character Molen's going to her journey of self-discovery and her limited beginnings by social expectations and self-doubt. Molen dresses herself as a man to take her father's place in the army and at first she was geting picked on by her friends but afther a few days she got used to the army and she was very talented. She actually faces everything while staying true to herself. Along the way she meets friends for life and proves that she is worth not only as a warrior but as a leader

you can see her growing up process, whether it's with the environment or between herself and her life, her progress was seen through the movie.

The story of moana in the movie is about how she grows up and finds her self and whats her part in the world.

Since she was a child, she loved the ocean and was connected to him.

Moana always wanted to explore and discover the ocean, but her dad, the chief of the island, didnt let her and says its too dangerous for her because she is only a little girl.

Her father used to be curious like her so he went into the ocean with his friend , but the waves were too srtong and his friend drowned and her father couldn't save him.

And since then her father decided not to cross the breakwaters.

Moana's father wanted that Moana will be the next chif, but Moana didnt know what to choose, between listen her father and stay safe at home, or following her heart and go to the ocean, but after she realiezed why her dad don't let her go tp the ocean, she didn't have the courage to do that anymore.

Moana's grandmothe always gave her hope because she always wanted that Moana will find her right and true place for her, so she told her that her ancestors were voyagers who traveled the seas and she showed her the boats they used to traveled with.

And this makes Moana decide to go on a journey, bring back the heart of Te Fiti, save her island and give back to her people their love for the ocean.

During her journey, Moana meets Maui that was a demigod, and they faced with a lot of dangers and challenges together, and Moana learns to be brave and trust herself.

She became stronger with every problem they met and Moana realizes that her true place and her dstiny is the ocean and her people.

She understands that she can be a good leader and also good explorer like she always wanted.

Moana came back home as a hero and a good leader and she succededd to save eveyone.

I choose Moana.  We can see at the start of the movie that Moana is still a little girl, and that the sea is playing with her and giving her the heart of Te Fiti. We can see how Moana grows up and starts to have a potion for the sea, even though her father tries to keep her away from it.  Before her grandma died she told Moana that she waited for her to grow up to tell her that the ocean had chosen her to bring the heart of Te Fiti back to the place. Moana is going through a process and we can see how she takes responsibility and trying her best. 

I see at the movie how moana is being mature and this is why I think that it’s a coming of age movie.

Moana story, is a story about Tsif's yongest daughter from a long line of nomads. For many years they were all banned from sailing outside the lagoon. But Moana the little girl decided to sail out of the lagoon. To find a stone that was stolen years ago. Everyone was afraid, the sea was dangerous for a young girl. she understood the danger. She felt ready and mature enough.What pushed her to go on a journey was that she lost the stonethat is important to everyone on the island. She felt a responsibilty to find it. This is the point she started to grow up, and who ever grows up undestands that there is responsibility for our actions and to accept reponsibility for action.

i chose the lion king movie

the reson why i chose this movie as a becoming of age movie is because i love to see how simba is starting as a carefree child to a denying teenager, and in the end how he becomes a mature person.

Simba stars as child who lived his entire life as a protected prince, he was the son of the king, no dared to approach him, and he was loved, but a a consequence,

he was easily influenced by peoples words, so when his uncle tell him that if he'll go to the valley will make his father forgive him for what he accepts the offer and fall into the trap, which cuz his father's death, simba run away, terrified from what he did, his world break down around him, and he don't know how to face his family, so he is avoiding that with no meeting theme at all.

After he leaves his kingdom, he meets timon and pumba, to people who lives their life without concerning, to him, they become a mentor, people he can trust and

they become a supporting role model for him, for simba, this is a new stage in adulthood, and with that, he becomes a teenage boy, as expected, he doesn't worry about anything, but sometimes he thinks About what he left behind, his family, his friends, but he doesn't have something to push threw to them.

After a while simba been living with timon and pumba he meets his childhood friend, nalla, who tells him what happens in the kingdom, because simba is still in denial, he says he doesn't have anything to do with the kingdom, after nalla leave,he experiences a kind of epiphany when he meets his father, he goes through the last stage of puberty, and goes to help his kingdom, and finally when he stays he fights his uncle, who lies that Simba was the one who killed his father, Simba learns to accept his past, and finally reveals that Scar He was the one who killed Mufasa, and finally rules the kingdom as the king as an adult.

The movie Turning Red is a coming of age movie, the movie talks about a 13 years old girl that her mother doesn't accept her personal interests so Mei the girl hides it from her mother, one morning Mei wakes up and find out that she transformed into a red panda, in the movie she is trying to control her emotions so she will not turn into a red panda.  

This is making her to become more mature and wise ,I think that the fact that she had to control her emotions made her become a grown up women and gave her more courage in order to deal with her mother so she isn't afraid to disappoint her anymore.   

All of those thinks together is the think that make this movie a coming of age movie the fact that the main character has going through a big change like Mei had in the movie.

The movie tells about Simba the prince, in the beginning Simba was young and carefree. After the death of his father Mofesa Simba did not want to take his father's place and become king so he ran away, after going through a process and going through several things, like Scar tried to make the animals think he disappear, to take the kingdom from him ,and that he got involved with the hyenas and fought for his life.  

Simba realized that he had to return and be king and so he did. And so you can see Simba's maturation process .      

In Disney's 1989 film The Little Mermaid, Ariel grows up in several ways.               She is very curious about the human world, and she collects some objects that she finds that humans accidently dropped it to the water because she wants to understand who they are and who she is.                                                                       She decides to give up her voice to a sea which names Ursula for human legs, learning that decisions have costs.                                                                 When Ursula tries to roll Ariel underwater home, Ariel realizes how her decision affect othrers.                                She works with Eric and her family to defeat Ursula.                            learning the value of teamwork.        In the end, her father gives her human legs, and she joins the human world, showing her growth from a child to an adult.                                                                This journey shows Ariel responsibility and finding herself.

The movie take place about a girl who named Riley.

In the movie we're see that every decision or feeling that Riley or her parents thinking about, doing an inside zoom into their brain and how their makes decision.

The coming of age in the story is how Riley dealing with the Adolescence and with the angry that he be with him.

Riley going on a journey with her self to understand the world of the mature.

When she dealing with a lot of pressure, we see how her emotions working inside her brain and how is it influencing her.

In the end of the story Riley getting to the world of the mature.

Now we're waiting to Insude Out 2 to see Riley as a grown up girl.

B) I chose the movie "The Lion King" which tells about Simba, the son of Mufasa who is going to inherit the kingdom of the animals. Scar, Mufasa's cunning brother tries in all kinds of ways to take the kingdom for himself, he lies to Simba so that he disappears and makes sure to throw Mufasa off the cliff to let everyone know that it is his time to rule the kingdom.

Simba does not give up and returns after a few years, he arrives at the lake and sees his father there in the reflection of the water and realizes that he has to go and return the kingdom.He goes to confront Scar and finally takes pity on him but Scar falls and is eaten by hyenas.

I think Simba matured when he realized he had to take the fate of the kingdom in his own hands.

Make him king and the kingdom returns to being quiet and good as before.

You can see his maturation by the fact that he confronted Scar and was not afraid, he made sure to return the kingdom to the days of his father and was not afraid of the obstacles on the way, he became a real lion!

Mike proved his maturity when his grandmother thought he was her husband and asked him for forgiveness and Mike did not try to prove her and correct her but sat and listened and understood that she needed to vent and that way she would feel better about herself.

Simba and Mike understands that in the adult world there are many responsibilities to be taken, especially in the role of king and it is not black and white there are difficulties.

Mowgli he is an orphan boy who was left alone in the Jugal as a baby, and the wolf family find him and keep him even though they know he is a human, the wolf family teach mowgli how to live like a wolf, one day the tiger makes the wolves turn against Mowgli because he is a human and not an animal, Mowgli realizes that he is in a danger and has to leave the jungle because it's dangerous for him, then he arrives at a human village where he is taught to control fire and then when he is ready, he returns to the jungle and kills the tiger that wanted to kill him.

 Mowgli is a coming  of age movie because he grew up with the wolfs that they take care of him, and then they came up against him and he had to take care of himself, and he became more mature and strong because he fight a tiger, and if he was a little boy he would scared but he isn't a little boy.

Rapunzel is a blonde girl with extra long and special hair. Rapunzel is trapped by her evil mother in a tower deep within the woods outside of the kingdom.The evil mother locked her up and doesnt let her be independent. Rapunzel coming of age when she decides to choose her own path, when her mother took a 3 day journey to retrieve art suppplies for Rapunzel 18th birthday. the time when she was out there gives Rapunzel enough time to escape. Theres a thief named Flynn who run for his life and looking for a hiddining place, then he saw the tower and climbed into it(that was the first time they saw eachother. When she had the option to escape without her mother knowing, she took advantage of it, and went outside with Flynn. Rapunzel escaped from the tower and took an adventure to finally see the real world,to compete with the challenges of the real world. The challenges made her stronger and a real woman.

The movie is about a girl named Moana who has always had a very strong connection with the sea. One day it was discovered that Te Fiti's heart was stolen by Maui and Moana's grandmother convinces her to go and search Maui and Te Fiti's heart. Her grandmother told her that she had been waiting for the day she would be ready for it. for this journey and that the sea wants her to go out to bring back Te Piti's heart, after Moana's grandmother dies, Moana experiences a crisis and she is sad so she decides to overcome it by going on a voyage even though her father forbade her to go near the sea and bring back the heart as her grandmother told her Moana goes on a voyage and meets In Maui who does not agree with her and after Moana convinces him to go on a journey with her by becoming a hero and that his magic lie will return to him they go on a journey and encounter several difficulties but together they overcome them and manage to win back Te Piti's heart.

the story is coming of age because Moana went through a long journey and experienced separation from her grandmother and many difficulties along the way and despite everything she believed in herself and achieved her goal, returned the heart of Te Piti and saved her tribe and became their leader.

Elsa's coming-of-age journey in Frozen is depicted as she learns to embrace her powers and accept herself for who she is. Throughout the movie, she becomes from a fearful and insecure child  to a confident and powerful woman. At the beginning she was so scared of herself, and of her powers that she couldn’t even leave her room, and then when she becomes a queen and everyone discovered that she have a special power she ran away and learning how to live with her power and do amazing things by her powers.
