In addition to specializing in homes in the central Denver area,she advocates for child care safety, and volunteers for several local causes. Denice's infant son nearly died after being poisoned by his nanny. This experience led her to appear on national as well as local television panels, and to author articles about the experience in national and regional publications. She was also appointed to a government commission on child care safety in Colorado. Denice Reich chronicled this and other struggles in her book, Accepting the Unacceptable - How Betrayal, Setbacks and Failure Created My Success. Additionally, Denice donates to multiple recipients, among them the Colorado School of Mines. She also supports the National Jewish Foundation, The Colorado School of Mines, and College Track (awarding yearly scholarships to minority women). RE/MAX has named Denice Reich to several honors, including their Hall of Fame, Circle of Legends, and Chairman’s Club awards.
