Typically there is a sense of disgust towards individuals who suffer from this condition. These judgements could either create issues or worsen a persons mental health which only add to the cycle of this disease, making the people who suffer from this condition feel trapped. Additionally with the amount of commitment over a long period of time in order to see true positive results of a healthy lifestyle can prevent individuals from fully committing. Without seeing results in their day to day lives it dwindles the desire to continue. 

With the difficulty of just committing to the process of a healthy lifestyle and the constant unrelenting pressure applied by society and media make this a multifaceted issue. Due to the abuse experienced in various ways throughout life; people must attack this disease with thick skin and determination. As a society we are quick to count people who are over-weight out, almost as if they are a magnet for negative energy. 

Facets of Attacking the Problem:
A) Diet Change- Making tough decisions on what to cut and what not to cut in your eating habits, for instance in the trailer of FAT; the man being documented was handed a food chart and quickly inquired about where a burrito would fall on this list to the displeasure of the dietician.

B) Understanding were all the same, but also very different- Everyone has their temptations and flaws, these are important to control in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We are all human so similar struggles happen to massive amounts of the population and we must understand that to recognize you are not alone in this or the first to feel this way; finally while working on a healthy lifestyle we must recognize the difference in individuals strength and metabolism. These two alone can have massive effects on how quickly someone sees results in the changes.

C) Expenses- Some people simply cannot afford the healthy organic alternatives, or do not have time to cook 7 meals a week at home. One major point that has been made clear throughout the accumulation of this content is that due to the stigma and weight-bias that has become so prevalent in our every day society. With that comes the social struggle of obtaining their respective dreams and aspirations due to the ceiling society places on individuals who are over-weight or obese. Society has created the thought process that once someone allows themselves to become obese that they will never come back from that. When in reality it has happened and does happen often, people do beat obesity and rediscover a healthy lifestyle but instead of celebrating these instances we focus on the ones who do not complete this rigorous task. 

  That being said obesity has turned into an epidemic, the multitude of health issues that stem from obesity can go on for ages, from mental issues, to joint pain and internal damage to the heart and other major organs. This is a deadly disease and should be combatted as such, until we recognize that it is not always their fault and drop these pre-conceived notions and create an attainable plan to help rehabilitate and make appropriate changes to the standards in which we set for these individuals we will not see a decrease in obesity. Legislators also can play a major role; putting restrictions on propaganda; regulating prices for healthy food; and also disallowing the socially acceptable biases that surround every overweight person are all examples of ways people in government can fight for this community.
