- When they got there they didn't feel as welcomed

Similarities: Both sailed to Sumatra and India. As Denis and Francis reach Sumatra, they realize their way of living is still the same as when Polo had gone

- They had to sail on a cargo ship 
- When they reached Sumatra the people their were very welcoming
- Cannibalism no longer exist as it did in Polo's time.

visit in Beijing, they felt as all hope was lost and were ready to give up. 
But then they were fascinated by a popular quote. it went something like this "Don't worry about yesterday its gone, it already happened. Don't worry about the future it is not here yet. Live in the moment of today, live in the moment instead". Denis and Francis were constantly given hard obstacles to overcome on their journey. Bad news seem to always appear at every corner. But they realized that they shouldn't have to worry so much of what has already happen to them or what will happen to them. All that matters is the moment they are living in. This place is more moderate yet still holds something natural to it. The mountains are really big here which is something I like about here. It adds more life to it as so do the city lights when they light up at night. This place is also rich in its culture and never loses it's spark.
