That '70s Show is about a group of teenagers exploring their youth in the 1970s, learning how to get a job, and to enjoy each other's company. They spend a lot of time in Eric Foreman's Basement, where they plan their crazy adventures. They go on wild adventures including Canada to get "Canadian Beer", to Todd Rungren concert in Milwaukee with a soon-to-be dead car battery, to Fun Land and getting lost on Fun Street. Through a lot of ups and downs in their relationship, they've always stuck together through thick and thin.

In this episode, the President, Gerald R. Ford, is coming to their small town, Point Place, Wisconsin. Since something that would be nationally televised would be coming to them, they planned to do a prank. They finally decided that they would all go streaking and run away. They all approach in trench coats and see a crowd of people and Secret Service with dogs. What will happen? :O

The Gang had to convince Eric to streak with them in the Rally, trying to make a statement to their other peers, teachers, and national television. Eric has had a hard because his father can be strict in times of punishment so they persist on making him continue with the plan. In the end, he decides to streak with the gang to prove to himself and others that he can also be adventurous. I feel as if this can slowly change decisions from Eric and cause him to do more inappropriate or criminal acts. (In a later episode, he takes his car and trenches Old Man Shinksy's yard and tries to escape). In the end, the rest of the gang gets cold feet and decided that they are all chicken.

Red Foreman, Eric's father, was a war veteran and is always strict on Eric to show him how tough the real world can be. He is always giving him countless advice, even if Eric actually applies them or not. In this particular episode, Red Foreman starts to stumble asking his question and can't speak. Eric is forced to make a quick decision and listen to the words that his father said, "Sometimes, a mans gotta do what a man's gotta do." He ends up streaking yelling "WEE WEE PEE PEE" as he runs through the rally getting chased by Secret Service. This gives his father the courage to ask his question, "How the hell could you pardon Nixon". I believe that even though Eric is influenced to do perform acts by his peers, he still learns good morals through his father.

Eric also was influenced by the national television aspect of the situation. He thinks about how the world will be able to see his private parts. The gang also influences Eric about how a powerful man, like the president, can also succumb to pranks like any other person on national television.

Through many years of lessons through his peers and family members, Eric was able to become a person who is well-rounded and knows morals about friendship and love. Even though he makes a lot of mistakes, he makes his decision with intent to help himself and the people around him. SPOILERS!!!~~~~~~ In the latest season, Eric decides to leave to Africa to teach kids in tough conditions so in return will get his own college schooling paid for. He grew up to be able to take care of himself and be very careful of what can happen in the outside world where his family won't take care of him anymore. The whole gang grew very close and even though they have their issues and fight, they always come back together and be friends and family again.
