It’s my choice to live in feaR  

It’s harder, yet so simplE 

For me to hold the umbrellA  

When there’s no longer a poinT  

Since all I see now is the trutH 

To only be mE  

Large, bright 

Floating, wavering, changing 

Night, home, garden, attic 

Walking, running, sleeping, 

Sun 

Silently crawling, majestic white fur softly growling, barking and howling; 

A mammal with an omnivore tendency to be tricky,

It makes my heart feel exciting,

It may seem a boring animal but its highly adaptable,  

Canis latrans.

An ambient organ used to determine our circulatory system;

Racing fast as I nervously get too close, 

Often mentioned as a romanticized version of excuses, 

Emotions.

In the process of assembling this portfolio, I’ve gained deeper skills in literary analysis, recognizing theme, character, poetry and its powerful way of expression our emotions and feelings. I’ve grown in my ability to reflect, to connect readings to both my own experiences and my students, and to write with more confidence and purpose. I also carried out revisions, discussions, and creative projects that pushed me to think critically, to listen to different perspectives, and to appreciate how YA literature can both challenge readers and offer hope. But essentially, every mind and voice is unique.  Just like me.
