Ajouter les mots suivants:

Faire remarquer que ce sont les mêmes lettres mais qu'elles produisent le son EU

- Le doigt le plus grand? le majeur
- Le chiffre entre huit et dix? neuf
- L'arc-en-ciel en a sept? couleurs

Faire remarquer que le EU produit le son OE également.

Trouver les mots dans lesquels on entend le son SI et entourer les lettres qui font le son. Faire remarquer que t et i chantent SI.

Écrire:
une réparation - une ortie - une acrobatie - un Tahitien - une tisane
Faire entourer les lettre ti puis les faire lire.Montrer que les lettres ti ne font pas toujours le son SI. Par contre quand elles sont associées au on ou en les deux lettres produisent le son SI. Quand il reste un doute, il faut déchiffrer les mots et en déduire la prononciation qui convient.

- Proposer une phrase:
Le taxi expédie le boxeur dans la galaxie.

Demander de trouver le son commun dans cette phrase. Lorsque le son KS  est trouvé, répéter la phrase puis les mots et les syllabes.
Trouver d'autres mots contenant ce son. ( mixeur- saxophone - extraterrestre- fax- excellent - extincteur-...)

- Proposer ensuite:
Xavier exagère avec son xylophone.

Demander de trouver le son commun dans cette phrase. Lorsque le son GZ est trouvé, faire chercher d'autres mots . ( exercice- examen - exemple-...)

- Écrire les deux phrases et demander quelle lettre produit ces deux sons.

- Proposer:
Six hiboux examinent les exploits du deuxième boxeur.
Demander les différents sons produits par la lettre x: KS, GZ, mais aussi S et Z
