My school helds youth in mission every year. Youth in mission is an activity from my school that ordered us to do service to an orphanage, schools, churches, nursing rooms and other places that we can spread love and happiness with them. In my first year I decided to do personal mission with my classmates.

Day 1

On our first day of mission We went to Karena Kasih Orphanage in North Jakarta. We spent time having fun with them and sharing about teenage life and dream. My heart got touched when I heard one of them sharing testimony of his life and how God worked in his life. Things that I learnt from them that in whatever situation we are, God always be with us and we must always put trust in Him.

Day 2

On the second day We went to Rumah Singgah Harapan Indonesia in North Jakarta. In Rumah Singgah there were many children that suffer from disease like leukimia, cerebral palsy, cancer dan other disease. We did coloring activities together with the kids and they were very happy then we played guess the song game with them. After that because it was already 2PM so the children must took a nap.

Day 3

On Day 3 We came to the same place. On the second day in Rumah singgah We made crafts from origami paper and made letters about their hopes. After that We watched “Sonic the Hedgehog” on netflix. Then We moved on to our last activity on day 3 that is tracing hands with paint. Finally we say goodbye to each other.

Day 4

The two last day We went to Panti Asuhan Karena Doa in Depok. The orphanage is dominated by boy. The first day in this orphanage we coloring together and played basketball together. They were very nice to us and welcoming us so well. They face were so happy playing basketball with us.

Day 5

The last day of our personal mission We spent time having fun together. We played whispering games and that was so fun. Fun facts from Panti Asuhan Karena Doa was most of them can played musical instruments well and they were very talented. After that We played basketball and UNO games together. Finally the farewell had come and we waved goodbye to them. I felt sad because playing with them were so fun.
