[Objective]

• Band members are to spot the lie given from their friends' statements

[How to play]

1. Split the band into groups of 7

2. The leader of each group will take out their phone to join the Kahoot

3. For each question, groups are given 45 seconds to discuss which option is the lie

4. Group leader is to pick the option their group thinks is correct

5. Group with the highest score wins

• This is a non-vigorous activity

• Kahoot quiz will be prepared beforehand

  • ~12 people will be asked to give 3 statements about them, 2 truths and 1 lie

  • The 2 truths 1 lie can be about their experiences, likes, etc. but it must be something not obvious (e.g. I am from... section)

  • Each question will display the name and a picture of the person who's statements are being shown

• Overall IC of this game will collate the 2 truths 1 lie from the chosen people and create the quiz

How the game works

Everyone will step into the circle and look for a straw in the circle but when they see the straw they must not make it obvious to others or tell others that they saw the straw and should step out of the circle.

It can be short or long but it depends on where we will put the straw!

Facils to record the amouth of time taken by the group and fastest group wins

Team members are allowed to strategise in order to have the shortest time.

In the end all the groups can gather in a big circle and pass the cup around

Objective: To improve memorisation skills of band members and to work together as a team

How to play:

1. Band members are to get into their assigned groups

2. They are to find matching objects within 5 minutes

3. ICs are to take note of the number of pairs of matching objects for each round

4. The groups with the highest number of matching objects overall will win prizes

Remarks: There will be 3 rounds

Introduction: Are you the hunter or the hunted?

Prop(s): None

How to play:

• There should be enough participants to form at least 4 groups of 3 people each, with 1 person left over.

• Participants to form the group into teams of 3.

• Two members of each team will form the ‘trees’ by extending their arms and clasping each other’s hands.

• They form a ‘home’ for the third person who will be positioned in the middle as the ‘squirrel’ (see picture).

• The person without a team will be the ‘it’.

• The ‘it’ will call out one of the following – “hunter”, “fire” or “earthquake”.

  • If the ‘it’ calls, “Hunter,” all the ‘squirrels’ will have to leave their ‘homes’ and find new ‘homes’.

  • If the ‘it’ calls, “Fire,” all the ‘trees’ will have to separate and find new partners to form new ‘homes’.

  • If the ‘it’ calls, “Earthquake,” every team will have to break up and participants will have to form new teams with new members.

• While the players are moving around after each call has been made, the ‘it’ can slip into any vacated role.

• The last person left standing without a team becomes the new ‘it’.

Caution:

• Avoid rough ground.

• Caution the participants about knocking into one another.

Objective: To improve bonding among band members

No props/logistics needed

Rules:

1. If this game is held in classrooms: Groups 1 and 2 go to one classroom and groups 3-5 go to the second classroom

2. Band members are to get into their assigned groups

3. Each group is to get into pairs or groups of 3

4. They are to spend 5 minutes to interview or chat with each other

5. After 5 minutes, the groups members are to get back into their groups

6. Each of them will have to say the group members that they were grouped with, and describe each other in only three words or adjectives

Duration: 5-10 mins

Logistics and Props are not needed

Objective: To allow band members to open up and freely express their thoughts

Procedure:

1. Each participant is to talk freely about one or two positive and negative aspects of their lives. It can be band-related or personal.

2. Other group members are to respect each other's opinions and ask more questions when needed

Remarks:

1. Facilitators are to lead the conversation and ensure that everybody is actively participating

2. This game is best carried out right after Three-word Interview to enable band members to be comfortable with one another even before this activity is carried out.

Venue: SBC or three classrooms

Duration: 15-20 mins

Objective: To enable band members to be more attentive to instructions

No props/logistics needed

Rules:

1. Band members are to sit in their groups and stand up before the game is commenced.

2. The ICs will shout the set of instructions

3. If the instruction contains "Simon says" in it, then band members will need to follow it.

4. If the instruction DOES NOT have the required words, whoever follows the command word will be eliminated from the game. They are to sit at one corner of that venue.

5. After the game ends, faciliators are to count the group members that have survived till the end

6. The top 2 groups that have the most number of surviving members will win prizes

Remarks:

1. There will be 2 rounds. The commands are in the attached link above.

2. One of the five groups will be split up to be in two different classrooms.

3. Band members need to be spread out evenly so that every one of them can be seen

4. Facilitators need to be alert to eliminate band members accurately

Participants will guess the contents of a box by feeling the items inside without looking.

Materials:

Several cardboard boxes or opaque containers

Various small items to place inside the boxes (e.g., a toy, fruit, sponge, cotton balls, keys, etc.)

Blindfolds (optional)

Notepads and pens for keeping score

Setup:

Prepare multiple boxes, each containing a different item. Make sure the boxes are sealed so participants can't see inside.

Place the boxes on a table or designated area.

How to Play:

Divide the participants into teams of 3-5.

One by one Each participant has 30 seconds to feel the item inside the box and write down their guess on a notepad.

After everyone has had a turn, reveal the contents of each box.

Award points for each correct guess.

The participant or team with the most points at the end wins a small prize.

Variations:

Themed Boxes: Create themes for the items in the boxes (e.g., kitchen items, office supplies, holiday-themed).

Timed Challenge: Reduce the time limit for each guess to increase difficulty.

ITS SOMETHING LIKE THIS BUT no rubber and part like duh but instead we can make them do something if they loose so any ideas im open to it!

I was thinking if we can use the cham cham cham hammer and cardboard as cover

The objective of the game is to guide the ping pong ball using the cardboard cutouts while also working towards the finishing line as a team. First team to reach the finishing line will be the winner

[How to play]

1. split band into 3 groups of 10

2. 10 players will be avoiding the word “BAND” to lose.

3. Gather around in a circle and have Player 1 to start by saying any letter of the alphabet like “W”

4. Player 2 will then say a letter trying to continue a word like “..E”

5. Player 3 will do the same “..N”

6. and then Player 4 “..T” (WENT)

7. But if a player cannot think of a new letter to keep the word going, they will lose the round and earn a letter of “BAND” for example if its their first lost then they earn a letter “B”

8. Then the next player will say a letter to start a new word

9. The game continues with players losing rounds and earning letters until a player loses four times and completed the word “BAND” loses.

10. Also at any time an opposing player can call a “BLUFF” meaning that the player thinks another player is not spelling a real word

11. if the player did not have a word, they would earn a letter. BUT if the player did have a word the player who called “Bluff” would earn a letter.

12. the same letters cannot be used in a row to start a round.

13. Leader of the group is to write down who had lost.
