“My first experience buying a PC was quite a bad experience because it was my first time building my own personalised computer and being a very inexperienced person when it comes to PC. I did not know much about the different parts of the computer and the websites do not give information about the different parts hence i had to manually research each of them before making my purchase”

 

Prem: 

A lot of people tell me right that I have to buy like the top specs for my computer. But then I personally feel that there are some things that I can opt out for my computer example like my SSD drive doesn’t need to be top tier since I already have additional storage. Therefore, I hope that aftershock can do better by educating me as to what dos all this parts in the computer do. 

 

Tedmund: 

“I got my computer savvy friend to help me build my first PC. It is a very long process as there is alot of research required.”

With an aftershock website, all u can do is select the various parts but u don't actually know what the final product looks like. “Like I mentioned earlier, I think it would be good if aftershocks could provide at least an image or 3D model on how my end product would look like.”

 

Prem: I like RGB lighting a lot, so what I envisioned my dream PC would be is to have you know like wah a lot of rgb one. The fan must rgb ah, the cable must be rgb then the graphics card all this also must have rgb. I want to build like those type of pro-gamer look one. But I also wan to feel personal to my PC, because like I don’t want to own something that all my friends have too. I feel that this will ruin the value of the PC. Hence one of the top concerns of my PC building experience is that I must be able to vicualise what is happening and the PC I build must have the aesthetics features I have in mind. 

 

 

Tedmund: One reason why I prefer to got o actual physical retails tores is because I can be there to see how they build my PC based on my liking other than I just select the parts of the website and cross my fingers that it will turn out to my liking. 

Tedmund: I am a gamer one, so I of course want to make sure my GPU is very good for smooth gameplay. But then right I am always confused as to which brand AMD or Nigeria is better. Like what is the difference in terms of performance? I would rather companies tell me that other than telling me all the technical terms that I will not understand.

Prem: So I am a media student lah, so I need to do a lot of video editing. This will take up a lot of RAM in my computer and hence I recently look into upgrading from 16GB ram to either 32 or 64GB ram. But now the problem is that I hope that I can better understand the difference in terms of performance so I can make a better choice in purchasing.
