Two of Dr. Monge's courses were not included in the catalog. I can check the catalog, but it would be helpful for the instructors to ensure their courses are included and have the correct dates/times.

Being added as instructors from the beginning allows us to monitor numbers and see if we need to be reaching out to try to get more participants, and allows us to quickly check on course dates as life continues happening around us.

What about folks who were counting on those CPD credits? If the chance of having CPD courses canceled is high, then people will be less likely to sign up.

Ask the Core 4 Subjects to advertise in their weekly updates/newsletters. I always add the ELD offerings in the S.S. Weekly Updates. Also, MSDE is offering courses for FREE, so we had competition.

I think that the registration window being so close to the beginning of school played a part, especially with fees being involved. The original registration window only included 1 paycheck and people may not have had the flexibility to pay on short notice. Also, I don't think a lot of people were aware that there would be fees associated with the course beforehand.

Maybe encouraging ELD department chairs to share flers with their individual schools?
