As a teacher, I think it is important to know when your student is struggling on a certain topic/ subject. Being able to implement different ways for the student to be able to understand the content being taught. RTI is a great research based intervention that is being used in schools to help the students needs. The teacher is using this intervention as part of their teaching process. This intervention is more structured and gives the kids extra help with the education specialist. (Rabia)

Considering how a MTSS are similar to RTI's, both require a village in order for a student to succeed and accomplish their goals. The students teacher as well as other educational staff need to collaborate so they can better the students chance at learning. People like the teachers, intervention teachers, SPED teachers (if applicable), speech, RSP, and others all need to collaborate to ensure a students learning needs. (Adrianna)

There are many challenges educators face when it comes to implementing the best learning resources to their students. I believe that having positive behavior supports school wide will improve student success inside the classroom and outside. When students are lacking social skills and often misbehaving they are more likely to to miss out on learning opportunities, but they can also gain positive learning experiences from behavioral supports to improve their academic performance. I think it is important to be aware of the everchanging practices and procedures that we as teachers should be implementing in order to best serve and support every one of our students. I especially love the phrase "intentional design and redesign", suggesting that we should be constantly evaluating and changing how we teach based on live feedback and assessments from our current students.
