-During the mass: The couple wears a Wedding Lasso the entire mass period. Then the priest removes it after the mass is over. The Lasso is put on the bride first and then the groom forming the number eight. This signifies the mutual support for each other.

Dance: During the reception guests give the newly weds money to dance with them. This is called "El baile del dollar" which is "The Money dance". If guests want to dance with the bride they pin their dollar to her dress and ask for a dance, same goes for the groom the money is pinned to his suit.

• "Vibora de la mar" a song that guests sing and dance while holding hands and go around the newly weds and go under a bridge that is formed by the couple with the brides veil.

• Entrance: The newly weds make their entrance with live musicians behind them including their family and friends dancing.
