You have these different age groups; different political philosophies are the characters and different perspectives all bump heads and clashes into each other



Riley was really constructed to be a satire on contemporary black popular culture, contemporary black Hip-Hop music and the glorification of crime. And people take it on a surface level that I'm implying that all black people are criminals. The whole point of that character is that he's very young, maybe seven or eight, he's going out of his way to be a thug and look menacing and all of this, and he's not. That is where the humour lies, only people are looking at it at a surface level.
