rich dad is trying to convey that rich people become rich by acquiring assets and having that generate income by itself while the poor and middle class are the ones working for the money which will make them not acquire assets because they re the ones generating the money themselves they don't how to make the money work for them. i think the lessons here is to know about assets and liabilities before anything know what are the difference between them and how to make them work in your favor

Marvin Markland - The lesson that Rich Dad is trying to convey is that rich people acquire assets by working for them. The rich show initiative and go after the assets themselves which demonstrates relentless pursuit and determination. Meanwhile, the poor acquire small steps (liabilities) that they depend on to later benefit them as if it were an asset. The poor show less initiative and instead of going for the asset, they depend on the liability to bring the asset in due time thus treating it as an asset.
