We run a space heater in the 1st floor restroom to keep the hot/cold faucet lines from freezing shut.

1st Floor INSULATION - having lived here over a year, this space is inferior for keeping warmth -- If we did not run space heaters - CONSTANTLY- on the 1st floor, I would estimate the temperature difference between floor 1 and floor 2/3 to be 10-12 degrees cooler on 1st floor vs. rest of home.

We are having a new space heater delivered on 1/22/2025. This additional cost is $224 and this is on top of the $110 we have already spent on (2) previous space heaters.
