  • DO use slides, but DO NOT put too much text on each slide!
  • DO make good use of your coordinator (read out questions/answers) to keep people engaged.

  • Keep your video ON at all times!
  • Use practical examples (case studies, real-life stories etc.)
  • Ask questions during the presentation to keep them engaged.
  • Do not go overtime; leave enough room for Q/A!

  • Polls: very good. Too many polls: less so.
  • Videos: very good, but be careful with buffering times.
  • Col. Bühlmann-style video presentations: excellent but need some tinkering (no robotic AI voices, more natural demeanor).
  • Laser pointer: great if it works. Usually does not.
  • Annotations: yet to be truly tested, likely work best with tablets.
  • Virtual background: also work better with tablets.
