1. Yes, because I believe if you're not aware of media's impact it can affect you on another level. Like you mentioned, you listened to music that degraded women, which in a way persuades you to believe that. Once you realise what you're absorbing and how to avoid it or process it, that's important.

2. Yes boys need to be educated. Like in sex ed women learn all about the boys and their bodies but we don't get anything. Boys also need to learn to break this masculine, abs, ideal pushed on them. And need to learn how women are affected by it.

3. By the time I would have kids (v big if) media will have progressed to something we can't imagine. It might be pushed on future generations even MORE which makes the need for educating yourself on media influence greater.

4. Say these programs were in school, maybe once society learns the media tactics and how to avoid it advertising might have less impact? 2.  YES, many guys don't feel like there is no point in feminism. In medicine, the top scientists are actually more dominated by men, therefore they choose what to study, resulting in a decrease of medicinal studies in regards to woman.
