La Raza (Race/Family) 
Mexican Americans were discriminated for decades, they pushed their communities to be recognized and they filed legally as white Americans at first. But then those in the Chicano movement abandoned efforts to blend in and actively embraced their full heritage. #truth no more lies.

Till this day the culture of Chicanismo remains and will continue to be passed down. whether its with the style, the way they carry themselves with happiness/pride, to the language, as most like to call it "Spanglish". This Culure is Understanding, nothing is easy in life and sometimes standing up for our family and ourselves is needed. To not settle for less or for the average but to somehow find a way to push forward and thrive. support is familia, like needing advise, food, a place to stay, a connect for job etc. and of course, friends end up turning into family in the chicano culture and i mean they actually get called cousin, uncle, brother, sister and sometimes end up growing up living together not really even blood related as most would think.

 Through old beliefs that sometimes stop some of them from moving forward and carrying that old mindset of fear, to some of them continuing to keep their heads held high in the books and minds opened, to a great life and better opportunities. so that they are, of example to keep moving, no matter how They look or come from. where there is a will' there is a way. Because that's really what Chicano Culture means. Freedom. Thanks for reading :) all love!
