Although I was born in Elkin, NC, I grew up in Wilkes County. I know this county in and out and this place is definitely my home. In the picture above is downtown North Wilkesboro, which is where I spend too much of my time! I love shopping and hitting up the coffee shops around here, this is definitely how I express myself best.

Another place that I have always held dear to my heart is Ashe County. This is another destination where family was our main focus. My grandparents as well as my aunt and her kids lived in Ashe County while I was growing up. This is also another home for me, and I’ve always dreamt of building a life there.

While I was growing up, we spent many weeks out of the year in Buffalo, Ohio. We made these trips because much of my family (on my moms side) lived in the area. We always spent the night at my great grandparents house. These trips have always been associated with joyful periods in my life, as I love to travel as well as reconnecting with my family. This place will always feel like another home for me.
