         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think one of the main points that has come through loud and clear for me through our workshop and from shadowing, is that we, as facilitators, are tasked to create online "teams" with a real sense of teamwork to provide participants opportunities for authentic collaboration.  That sense of being on a team can be very motivating, referring to the "social" IB Online Facilitator capability.  I also think this can be one of the most challenging parts for the online facilitator.  I'm not sure if that fits into Approaches/Behavior on the fishbone chart, or under effective sharing under Tools and Resources.  Just a thought!</div>]]></description>

         <title>Additional Resource: Effective Online Facilitation - Australian Flexible Learning Series</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I found this resource in our "Additional Resources" folder, and two characteristics jumped out at me.  The first is the ability of the online facilitator to find their "voice", or the right "voice" for a workshop.  That voice may vary workshop to workshop but I need to find it to be effective as a facilitator.  I'm not sure if that might fit under Fundamental Actions and Behavior.  My second observation is that Salmon's model in the article lists "Development" as the culminating step of facilitation.  Once participants have constructed knowledge form the workshop, they can synthesize, develop and create with that knowledge.  I wonder if that might fall under Effective Learning Strategies.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I am so impressed with the structure and the connections in the fishbone diagram you've started, Rajesh, for example connecting Tools &amp; Resources with Effective Learning Strategies.  I think this is a brilliant infrastructure and can be a "go to" document for when we are in a workshop that is more difficult than others.  My leadership mentor used to ask me, what do you need...resources, structure, time, or culture shift?  I appreciated that focus on categories of solutions and I think that is what we have here.  Wonderful categories of solutions that we can use to jump start a workshop or further develop one that is running smoothly.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hi Sheree,<br><br>There are some wonderful suggestions.&nbsp; I completely agree with you on the importance of 'team' as ultimately participants will be expected to collaborate to take their learning to new horizons.&nbsp; I think you have categorised it right under approaches and I will add it to there.<br><br>Also, thank you for sharing the summary from the additional resources and I agree with your point of view about the 'voice'.&nbsp; I will add it under actions and behavior.&nbsp; I also liked your idea that you have shared from Salmon's model and I see a great scope to add 'synthesize, develop and create' all under learning strategies.<br><br>Thank you once again for your suggestions. </div>]]></description>
