Namjoon was a driving force in expanding my music taste and knowledge. His combination of English and Korean lyrics in both his solo work and in BTS' songs displays his intelligence and knowledge in an inspiring way, and he is credited as the youngest most credited idol in history with 218 KOMCA (Korean Music Copyright Association) credits. His development of not just his craft but him as a person make me want to be a better person myself.

Halsey opened my eyes to a new world of electropop and dark pop, as well as story telling through her 2015 album "Badlands", so called to reflect their mental state during the time of writing and then attaching a story of dystopian wasteland as a metaphor to the album. I deeply connected with the symbolism of showed in the album and found solace in the songs, and have since been an avid fan of their work.
