Beekle was born on an island where all imaginary friends are created. They live there and wait to be imagined by a child. Beekle kept waiting and waiting for a child to pick him and give him a name, but it was never his turn. Rather than waiting, Beekle decided to go on a quest to find his friend. Even though things were scary, he kept going because thinking about his friend was giving him courage. He got to the “real world” and looked everywhere. He found the real world to be a strange place because everyone needed a nap and was always busy. He climbed to the top of a tree to look for his friend but at first, no one came. Then he heard a voice from below yelling “Hello!” and a little girl handed him a drawing that she had made of the two of them. At first, they didn’t know what to do because both of them were new to having a friend but pretty soon they realized that they were “perfect together.” After that, they had many adventures and the real world began to feel better.

Character 1-Beekle

When Beekle is left all alone on the island we see a shocked expression on his face. But Beekle is brave because he decides to take matters in his own hand and do "the unimaginable", leaving his island place of origin to journey to the "real world."

Beekle is determined because even though this voyage is fraught with "scary things" he does not stop until he has found her friend. In contrast to the imaginary world he left behind he found the real world a strange place. Continuing with his search he locates a playground filled with children but even here a match eludes him. Until at last a little girl appears and befriends him with a picture she has of him.

Character 2- Alice

Alice is a courageous girl. It takes Alice a lot of guts to talk to Beekle and start their friendship. "Neither of them had made a friend before" but it doesn't take her long to figure it out.

Alice is amusing as she tells Beekle many funny stories when they begin to spend time together.
