When Desperaux was growing up he was too brave for a mouse and he didn't act like any other mouse.
He was brave and couragous, his parents treated him like a disappointment, he didn't care what other people thought about him eventhough he was small, he thought that he was as big as a giant and that he was as brave as a knight in shining amour and evewn though when the mouse concil was putting him up for trail, he still told the truth eventhough he could've got away really easily.

Desperaux didn't think he was small, he thought that he was big as a giant but his family, the Tillings, were worried because Desperaux was to brave for a normal mouce so his Brothers and Sisters try to teach Desperaux to be like a real mouce, and when ever he didn't act right, his brother and Sisters went and told there perarnts. One day Furlough was taking Desperaux and trying to teach him how to scurry but he didn't liten then Desperaux went into the princesses room and broke a mouce law and his own Brother told on him! But then we he was sent to the dungeon Furlough brought him down and threw him into the dungeon.
