Eratosthenes, Aristotle, and Pythagoras all wrote about this theory as early as 500 BC. However, many years earlier, the Bible has already revealed about this truth. Because the book of Isaiah was written between 740 and 680 BC.

“It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.” (Isaiah 40:22)

And so he vowed to find those paths that God said in His Word. He then discovered the warm and cold continental currents. His book on oceanography is still used in universities.
