- artifacts, examples your studying the ancient greeks. you could easily use a picture of an artifact, as an primary source 
- People, First hand people that have witnessed. If you were studying the holocaust you could find a survivor to interview, but people can only be primary sources when they have experience of the advent if you talk to a historian thats study the holocaust it may not be considered a primary source.
-Pictures of the event are extremely valuable primary sources.
