Students can come to school to the computer lab or library to do their SLS.

Librarian / Admin staff can help to monitor if teacher is busy with meetings

Form Teacher and Subject teachers to regularly check in with them

Students found spending time outside (eg shopping mall and post on social media) The next school day, form teacher needs to check in with them and address it promptly.

Remind students during morning assembly check in. Make sure web cam is switched on

Ask the students to stay back after school and completed their works

Call and inform parents to remind their children to complete the homework

Do not assign those important work for HBL

If students fail to complete their tasks more than 5 times, may need to face the consequences of CCA suspension

Class leaders i.e. class chairperson, vice chairs, band leaders and students councillors will help contacting these students once the absentees were identified by the teacher.

Students name of those who didn’t woke up will be jotted down and consequences equivalent as late for lesson will be implemented.

If by the time lesson ended students didn’t turn up, it should be treated as skipping lesson, and equivalent consequences will be implemented as well, such as detention or writing reflection.

If large number of students late for session, teacher should communicate the rational of having HBL or online lesson, emphasise on the importance of being responsible of independent learning. The values should be communicated and can be seen as a CCE opportunity.
