One year ago, I went on a vacation with my family in Ovifat , Belgium. We stayed there from Monday until Friday. Six years ago, we went on a vacation with the family for the first time and now we do it every year. Because my family really likes cycling, we always had a house in the mountains. But now I’m going to tell you about last vacation.

We’re all very exited! My uncles and older cousins were already on their way to Ovifat, because they were going with their bike. We left Vosselaar at 10 am. When we all got hungry, we stopped and ate our luch. A little bit later, the cyclists arrived and they also ate. When we were all done. We were getting on the road again. 

We arrived at 13 o’clock. And we started unloading the cars and everyone was claiming a room. An hour later, the cyclists arrived and they got a shower. My uncle was discovering the city, he looked for shops, bakery’s and supermarkets. He went to Colruyt and bought some food. A couple hours later, we had dinner. After dinner, everyone helped cleaning and after that, we played some games and played in the big garden. Everyone was tired from the road so we all went to bed early. This was our first day and I really enjoyed!

This day, we were walking trough the neighbourhood to discover some nice places. After a good day of walking, we found a little river and we all played in the water and had so much fun! We also looked for blueberries and ate them all at the river.

This was so much fun! There was this big pillow in the middle of the lake and it was really funny! Everyone swam and the family had such a great time! We went trough the same road as in day 1 and we were collecting all the blueberries that we could find. When we had enough blueberries, we went home again and made some blueberrie jam. This was so yummy! We gave the jam to our grand father and he really liked it too! 
When the night was coming, we had a campfire. It became a little bit too late so then we all went to bed. The swimming pool was fun! there were two slides and three sprinboards.

Everyone had a great time and we were all going to miss it, but this short week was so much fun! When we were at the house, we Always played volleyball, or we went from a deadride (wich was in our garden).
