This article is about how Democrats in Texas want to bring back straight-ticket voting. This is where a ballot has the option to vote for everyone of a particular party. For example, a voter would check "Democrat" and that would cast a vote for every Democratic candidate (President, Senate, House, etc.). This relates to the KQ because many people choose to relate their opinions on issues by aligning with a certain political party. The labels help them to describe their political viewpoints.

It was discovered that some "gluten-free" foods were actually made with gluten-containing ingredients. This was caused by a lack of research within the companies producing these foods. This relates to the KQ because food labels are intended to be useful, and aid people with dietary restrictions, but, the labels are only as useful as they are accurate.

This article is specifically adressing the issue of labeling certain food products as having zero calories. According to the article, "The FDA legally allows manufacturers to label anything with less than five calories as having zero calories." This raises the interesting question as to whether or not those 5 calories are negligable. If we assume that the people buying 0 calorie products are attempting to lose weight, does the lie make a difference in their weight loss plan? This relates to the KQ because it shows an example of how labels may not be useful in describing the world around us. If some labels are false and others are not, it can become difficult to tell which are true. If people distrust all labels, the ones that are factual become insignificant.

This article is about the tense relationship that is Israel and Palestine. Ever since the mid 20th century, the issue of whether Palestine should be free from Israel has been a heavily discussed topic in the region. Currently, the two most recognized solutions are the "one-state solution" or the "two-state solution". If they choose the one state solution, Palestine and Israel merge, making Israel a majority Muslim country in the process. If they choose the two-state solution, Israel and Palestine will be separated into different countries, and is the mostly preferred solution of the two.
This related to the KQ because it shows how saying Palestine is Israel is essentially putting aside so much conflict and history, and not recognizing a multi-decade conflict between a region and a country.
